Admiral Taverns one of the Big Six has broken ranks with the BigBiz cartel and given all its tenants a rent break indefinitely> THAT is the right thing to do - the others, Greene King, Marston's; EiGroup/Stonegate; Punch Taverns; Star Pubs & Bars/Heineken (one of Paul's pubs is a free of tie lease with Heineken) have all procrastinated with their 'business partners' who make ALL the money for the pubcos - and have not stopped rent demands. Unless they follow Adminral's example there will be no publicans to reopen the pubs when THIS crisis is over and the Pubs Crisis which has been going on for 20 years - will come to a head and 30% of British Pubs will be closed indefinitely.
