Devilish People - Rework

This is a second time I  found (and used) a sound that is somehow resembling a human voice (after Crazy Levels). Here I made two riffs using that sound and play one or the other the whole song, but always with a different arrangement, and rhythm (there's 6 rhythms altogether). 

Song can be seen as consisting of 3 parts (or themes). First one plays just riffs and rhythms (techno rhythms). In second one I introduce synths to round up the sound and add some mystery to overall atmosphere. End of second theme turns into a punk rhythm. 

Third theme starts with metal/double kick rhythm playing along synths and then the electronic bass turns on and you got some heavy experimental sound happening. Riffs will join the show promptly. 

The track is almost 6 minutes long, which is becoming a norm, more than a being a rarity, because my skills of working with cells (in garageband) and structure improved a lot. I plan to do more of this crazy stuff in the future combining metal and techno features. Wish me luck.

- bass - 70s classic synth bass (bass) - smooth

Part of a CD project with Cutts Cook / Ruffcut Studio. Bare bones writing demos were taken into the studio and produced By Karl Cutruff. It was a while ago.. it really was a gift to be able to work with Karl. we were both going through a lot personally at the time. Its a wonder how tracks like this came out of those truly hard times. The record " Always a good Time " was never released... I am thinking about it now... 

The song itself was written during the Bush Bailouts... dastardly deeds by politicians ruining our lives.. still relevant today.

Three names I go by are JOrdon (which I use for Bandcamp and SC) and Jae Ordon and Mascot’s Distance,(which I use everywhere else, such as Spotify, Apple, etc.).

I've written music for Taye Diggs, Ian Gillan of Deep Purple, Pete Yorn, the Gorillaz Dan the Automator, John Spencer Blues explosion’s Russel Simons and Bed Bath and Beyond.  In summer of 2022 my recording Life Whispers On was #7 on Canada’s Cashbox Radio.  Currently finishing up a musical called Humane.


I'm playing all the instruments on many tunes, ones I'm not are…Brian Allen of Lori McKenna, Christopher Cross and Robben Ford on Bass, Michael McDonald's horn section, in addition to Yutaka Uchida playing drums on some tunes and Laurent Medelgi on guitar, also Danny Zanker and Joe Bearclaw Burcaw playing bass.
