The second remix collection inspired by Liquid Bloom and PERE’s co-authored album, ‘Afar,’ transports us to the entrancing inner worlds of ambient music producer Tylepathy. A soulful reimagining of the original album’s naturalistic tones and progressive electronica energy, ‘Afar (Tylepathy Remixes)’ dissolves the boundaries between moments to offer its listeners a seamless respite from the heated landscapes of the outer world.

Where once the fire of the dance floor burned steadily through ‘Afar’s’ electro-acoustic currents, this journey to the interior cools the flames into a voyage through deconstructed sounds, primordial influences, and deeply restful beats. Pairing the instrumental, vocal, and binaural elements of PERE and Liquid Bloom’s original compositions with new layers of sound design and space-enhancing effects, Tylepathy conjures a balance of lightness and nocturnal energy while activating focus and beckoning the spirit of exploration.

Channeling the meditative essence locked within ‘Afar,’ Tylepathy’s reimagining paints an open world that combines the gentle rhythms of ambient organica with the guiding motion of soft drums weaving in and out of the greater musical expanse. This Samples Pack includes sounds of real, rare and unique, sacred instruments that I recorded myself playing in Tulum, as well as some natural ambiences from sacred locations in the region.

You will get almost 1GB of completely 1 of a kind loops and one-shot samples including Melodies from wind and string instruments to Percussion, Natural Ambience, Giant Gong, Chimes, and a super special recording of a real shaman from Mexico making a prayer for the earth.

I recorded all of these instruments at the amazing store "Frequencies Tulum" created by my friend Jean, who puts a lot of energy into collecting quality instruments from around the world to sell in the shop. You can check it out on Instagram and purchase instruments online directly from them if you feel inspired! It's very difficult to find these kind of instruments with such good quality and selection.

Inside you will also find some photos and videos to accompany the sounds so you can actually see the instruments and ambiences that you are using in the music!

I created the sample pack with the intention of enabling more producers to use these scared sounds and healing frequencies in their music, considering having direct access to them is not so easy depending where you live!

Sambhavā (सम्भवा):—One of the twelve guṇas associated with Piṇḍa, the seventh seat of the Svādhiṣṭhāna-chakra. According to tantric sources such as the Śrīmatottara-tantra and the Gorakṣasaṃhitā (Kādiprakaraṇa), these twelve guṇas are represented as female deities. According to the Ṣaṭsāhasrasaṃhitā however, they are explained as particular syllables. They (e.g. Sambhavā) only seem to play an minor role with regard to the interpretation of the Devīcakra (first of five chakras, as taught in the Kubjikāmata-tantra).
