Notes: Kaeng Krachan National Park protects an immense area of wilderness (almost 3000 square kilometres) & is a great place to record sounds and photograph nature. It is teeming with wildlife, including wild elephants, tigers, leopards, bears, gibbons and about 400 species of birds, although they are not all so easy to see.

This album is the result of several recordings made inside Kaeng Krachan in 2014.

Ural Owl and Raven
Ural owl (Strix uralensis) is big boreal owl and famous how it defends argressive against intruders near nest. Raven (Corvus corax) has noticed owl chicks in nest hole and try to figure out how to catch one. Female Ural Owl starts snap the bill as warning and do not hesitate to attact raven if it comes too near. Male Ural owl can be heard also on back.
