Draw the Line Radio Show is presented by Jacki-E and features the best music from female DJs and producers. Each show streams every Friday at 10pm UK time, 11pm CET, 5pm EST on Echo Radio and is repeated every Saturday at 8pm UK time, 9pm CET on Circl8 Radio.

This is Draw The Line Radio Show with Jacki-E, presenting the best music from female producers and DJs.

Helping me Draw The Line this week it’s FSJ who are from Phnom Penh in Cambodia. The set is called "On Beauty." It’s a live set created specifically for the Draw the Line. Deeply moved by the show’s support for female musicians, their live set draws inspiration from Kahlil Gibran's poetry collection "The Prophet," using the chapter ‘On Beauty’ as a vocal sample to convey the message that everyone is whole and perfect. The project features a total of 10 original tracks, collaboratively produced by Fin, San, and Joe (collectively known as FSJ).and it’s dedicated to all women.

Helping me Draw The Line this week it’s Kate Hex from Budapest, Hungary. She’s a relative newcomer to the scene but in a very short space of time she’s made quite an impact, signing her tracks to Mainground Music, Set About, Nova Collective, Pure Black and many more. Her entry in the recent Drumcode Mha Iri remix contest was runner up and her tracks have been played by artists like Kevin de Vries, Juliet Fox, Teenage Mutants and many others. Her DJ sets are a combination of old school sounds and modern elements creating dynamic driving techno sets. The mix you’re about to hear includes five of her own tracks, two of which are unreleased.

Helping me Draw The Line this week it’s Lodzikovsky, born in Warsaw and raised in Wrocław. She's the first Polish techno artist to headline in Cairo and Hurghada in Egypt. Her sets are raw, immersive, and uncompromising merging hypnotic, tribal and deep techno into unforgettable sonic narratives, building deep, long form journeys from the opening kick to the last drop. From Wrocław’s concrete halls to Cairo rooftops and Berlin basements she tells stories meant to be felt, not filtered.

HORSE MEAT DISCO are steady supporters of Gomma since a long time. The 100% Gomma series invites friends of the label to do a own selection of the Gomma catalogue. In form of a DJ MIX and a compilation. Caused to the great spectrum of music that has been released on Gomma and sublabel Toy Tonics every mix creates a complete different perspective on the German label's catalogue.

The last mix (2013) came courtesy of JACQUES RENAULT. He created a cosmic- Balearic selection. His compilation has been no.1 of JUNO Download house albums charts for six weeks. The new one by SEVERINO -  worldwide respected Italian super selector  and main music man of Horse Meat Disco used some of the more energetic tracks of the catalogue: Luke Solomon, Morgan Geist, DJ Kaos, Dimitri From Paris & DJ Rocca, Munk, Hess Is More, and many more

Severino is almost a legend. A DJ's DJ - with a big worldwide fanbase. The superfriendly and über-expert dude from The Horse Meat Disco crew.

Originally from Mantua, Italy he came to London in the 1990ies starting to run the Happy Families partys  in Shoreditch with ex-Jockey Slut editor Rob Wood, Michael Morley and Mark James. Later residency at Fabric. Later the Horse Meat Disco crew caught wind of Severino's unsurpassed vinyl knowledge making him a resident DJ and an essential member of the HMD quartet. 

Severino is trusted and loved by lovers of real housemusic all around the world. He has remixed artists such as Roisin Murphy, Basement Jaxx, Billie Ray Martin, Alison Moyet, Tracey Thorn, and Yoko Ono, as well as recent collaborations with Acid House legend Terry Farley. He has complied various albums including Classic’s Through The Eyes Of Severino and the Horse Meat Disco series out on Strut/K7!
