She’s the Promoter of the Collide techno events which have been running for the past six years and which are becoming the go to event for techno lovers in the UK Midlands, Her DJ style is raw, hard and industrial techno. She’s graced the decks with the likes of D.A.V.E the Drummer and with upcoming events in Swansea and Glasgow plus two Collide dates in Birmingham, Michaela and Collide are going from strength to strength.

RPN is a music producer, remixer, radio host and DJ. His experiments in music are a reflection of his emotions. His musical style is based on use of unconventional structures of deliberately dry, static drum rhythm, which is supported by a synthetic electric bass line as the groove foundation. The basic structure is supplemented by additive sound elements. These sound elements include synthetic percussion and bass lines, electric guitars and other instruments. RPN often goes past his represented style by going to extremes and inserting deep industrial samples, pop music elements or jazz standards into his music. RPN’s productions meet the self-imposed challenge of harnessing avant-garde techniques at the service of individual and collective dance floor ecstasy.
His time DJing has given him a truly broad palette to work with while curating your perfect night of music. Every set was presented in different form and fulfilled with strong and positive emotions. He plays upbeat, uplifting, high-energy music which goes in hand with his energetic nature in the booth. He likes different styles of music; however, at the top of his list are: Techno, Electro, Trance, Tech-house, EDM, UK Bass and Indie Dance.
RPN tailors musical sets to create the feelings the dance floor wants, whether that's a rush of excitement, giddy highs and bone-shaking lows for a basement on a weekend night, a warm and relaxing chill-out session for a midweek wind-down, cutting edge tracks for the innovation-hungry or more familiar classics for those simply seeking a good time.

 I love electronic music and can't imagine my life without it. I listen to music a lot, compose it myself, mix (as mixing engineer) and from time to time "spin" music as a DJ (since 1995). To me DJing is a fascinating game in which I intricately influence and tease the sense of rhythm of the people around me, help them to overcome their shyness and get them involved into the coherent collective movement of their bodies and souls, let them self-express in a dance. It's a form of a very powerful and mutually inductable energy exchange. Many years ago I've found that for me a classic, non commercial Techno and some kinds of music with sophisticated broken rhythms are the most suitable tools for such an exciting interaction. I purposely create under the same alias in a wide variety of more 'accessible' music sub-genres, on my mission to introduce true Techno to a wider audience.

Today's real, pure Techno, despite its futuristic electronic sounds, is essentially close to the most ancient form of music, consisting only of percussion sounds, organized into complex rhythms, intertwining and flowing around each other. Long before our distant ancestors invented melodies, they discovered the magic of collaborative rhythmic noise making as the perfect accompaniment for the dance. That's why true Techno is so infectiously danceable — it appeals to our ancient sense of rhythm and to the need for unity with the Tribe.

Also I edit promotional or music videos for YouTube, Instagram and other socials, animate various 2D graphics: logos, posters, intros for YouTube channels, educational, explanatory, entertaining short movies with expressive 2D+ cartoon characters.

- Roul Bauer aka Vicious Steam Engine was born 1978 in Germany. His Techno Passion awoke in the 90ies, with the upcoming Rave Scene in Switzerland & Germany.

The urge to create his own Techno Journeys was born at August 2020, during the Covid-19 lockdown. He started producing his own techno tracks one year later. He learned mixing at an Dj/mixing Workshop at Mixmasters.ch. Just for learning/training Sessions, he started an Techno Podcast called "Hot Pressure Stream" at Soundcloud. The Podcast and his Social Media grew steadily and other Guest Djs played at his Podcast, like Anne Rosko, Isca Nublar, 909RIOT, Traumtherapie, Dj E-Viction, Tchie, Andy Pirie, techno X-citement, Dj Capelli, X-Dream and Nao Tamura.

Vicious Steam Engine has been a guest DJ on podcasts such as TECNO OSCURO (2 DjSets), a Darker Wave, Techno Topic by Andy Pirie and RTDFRAVERADIO from Brooklyn. In his latest 2 guest DjSets for RTDFRAVERADIO he played alongside with great Djs/Producer like Franky Bones, Lenny D. , Jim Solis, D.A.V.E the Drummer, Rewilder, Chris Liberator, Dj Papa Smrf, Jay Maniakal, Dj Hoora, Bösetecha, Destro187, Belaroc and many others awesome Djs.

28.11.2021 he released his first EP at TECNO OSCURO: Dark Dance of Gratitude
followed by 18.04. 2022 by "Kill the Silence"EP.
Since 2023 he focused really deep on music production. He was at 2 Techno retreats of Mixmasters.net in Ibiza, where he learned from legends such as Funk Dvoid, Patrik Berg, Harvey Mckay, Wehbba and Josh Wink. Now he is currently taking an online course in Electronic Music Production at Björn Thorwellen's Sinee Institute and try to master his Abelton Push 02.
