This is Draw The Line Radio Show with Jacki-E, presenting the best music from female producers and DJs.

Helping me Draw the Line, with her mix in the second hour of the show, it’s Pelacha  from Madrid and is one of the most legendary and respected DJs in Spain. She started her DJ career at the end of the 80’s and has held residencies in many of Spain’s top techno clubs. She’s twice played Awakenings Festival and has DJ’d at festivals and clubs all over Europe including Tresor Berlin. She also DJ’d at FAC (Cuba) and is one of the few DJs to have played in that country. She’s currently resident DJ at Redsonja Beats at Siroco, Madrid and runs her own event series called Techno Cracks! In 2016, she co-founded Stelar Booking agency through which she strives to represent and defend underground music values among some of the most charismatic, skilled, experienced and well-respected Spanish techno artists. She’s renowned for her energetic and powerful sets.

ona:v is a Polish-born DJ, producer and promoter with an ear for groovy dark techno and emotive electro. A scientist by day and a DJ by night, the Edinburgh-based artist is an integral figure in her locale. Founder of the female and non-binary collective EPiKA, she curates a bi-monthly party called CiRCLE, where she books female and non-binary names from the harder side of techno and electro. In 2021/22, she streamed from Berlin’s HÖR Radio. In addition to her residency and internal work at Sisu, she garners three radio residencies on Fnoob, EHFM and Threads. Labels including Pollination UK, Let’s Techno and Paradise Palms Records have released her driving productions, with an upcoming debut EP on Diffuse Reality.

During a deep cosmic music journey through outer space: "Feeling the need to search for extra-terrestrial life I found myself, and now my mission is to reach the soul of humans through music beyond the stars". The Zenobit3 found a renewed sense of purpose, a belief in himself that welcomes new perspectives. Her entry in the recent Drumcode Mha Iri remix contest was runner up and her tracks have been played by artists like Kevin de Vries, Juliet Fox, Teenage Mutants and many others. Her DJ sets are a combination of old school sounds and modern elements creating dynamic driving techno sets. It’s been a while, but welcome back to Draw The Line Radio Show with me, Jacki-E. This is the first in an occasional series of DTL Extra, the show that celebrates music made by female and female identifying DJs and Producers. 

Helping me Draw The Line this week it’s Caroline Valença aka Amethysta a DJ, Producer and multi-artist from Brasília with a B2B set with her husband, Benicci. The B2B ranges from techno to indie dance and every track is by Amethysta or Benicci or is a collab between the pair. Welcome back to Draw The Line Radio Show with me, Jacki-E. This is the show that celebrates music made by female and female identifying DJs and Producers. 

Helping me Draw The Line this week it’s Lodzikovsky, born in Warsaw and raised in Wrocław. She's the first Polish techno artist to headline in Cairo and Hurghada in Egypt. Her sets are raw, immersive, and uncompromising merging hypnotic, tribal and deep techno into unforgettable sonic narratives, building deep, long form journeys from the opening kick to the last drop. From Wrocław’s concrete halls to Cairo rooftops and Berlin basements she tells stories meant to be felt, not filtered.

Jacki-E & P-Mac are influenced by techno, deep house, jungle, dnb and the ethos of the acid house raves and festivals of the early 90's.  If you listen carefully you can hear the underlying stories which have influenced them in their preference for the darker edge of electronic dance music.
Jacki-E & P-Mac write and publish their own original tracks and re-mixes, play DJ sets in clubs, at private parties and for radio shows and podcasts .
