Helping me Draw The Line this week, with her guest mix in the second hour, it’s Aura Sounds, a talented, young DJ from Manchester in the UK and this is the third time she’s been on the show. She learnt her DJ skills at the School of Electronic Music in Manchester and draws inspiration from the likes of Carl Cox, Amelie Lens and Adriatique. She also holds residencies with the North West England & North Wales Event and Party Collectives Underground Kollectiv and  Nexus Techno.

She delivers fast paced, energetic hard and industrial techno and also enjoys playing mental core and tribe tekno. She began studying electronic music production and mixing in 2020 and has gained a reputation by playing at events such as 8times8 rave and Ego_death, becoming a resident `DJ for them both. Jacki-E & P-Mac are influenced by techno, deep house, jungle, dnb and the ethos of the acid house raves and festivals of the early 90's.  If you listen carefully you can hear the underlying stories which have influenced them in their preference for the darker edge of electronic dance music.
Jacki-E & P-Mac write and publish their own original tracks and re-mixes, play DJ sets in clubs, at private parties and for radio shows and podcasts .
