It’s drum and bass this week and helping me Draw The Line, with her guest mix in the second hour, it’s Pachelle, a Toronto-based DJ who’s been lighting up dance floors since early 2022 with her deep, groovy and sparkly sound. Since embracing her inner junglist last summer, she’s shared the stage with many of Toronto’s most respected DnB acts and performed on lineups with several international headliners, including Rusko, Critical Impact, and Mrs. Magoo. Her 2023 highlights include a guest mix on CIUT 89.5 FM’s The Prophecy—North America’s longest-running DnB radio show—and an appearance at Future Forest Festival Atlantic, Canada's premiere electronic music festival. She has her own liquid DnB-leaning radio show, ‘Over the Moon’ on Data Transmission.

Jacki-E & P-Mac are influenced by techno, deep house, jungle, dnb and the ethos of the acid house raves and festivals of the early 90's.  If you listen carefully you can hear the underlying stories which have influenced them in their preference for the darker edge of electronic dance music.
