The guest mix in the second hour is by Anyer Quantum, a rapidly rising star in the techno firmament who's from Puebla in Mexico. An accomplished presence behind the decks, he’s capable of mixing a wide range of sounds. He’s released on Flow Records and Digital Diamonds and is now about to release on underground Australian label Frisson Records’ VA album “Reverse Ozmosis” with a remix of Venus Vision’s "Ominous Solace." To mark Anyer’s debut on Frisson, his mix consists entirely of tracks from “Reverse Ozmosis” which is out now:-

A Darker Wave, the best in underground techno, tech house, deep house and anything else we like enough to play in the show, presented by Jacki-E and P-Mac.

The guest mix in the second hour is by SRS, a DJ / Producer from London. He began mixing on vinyl in the late eighties. A regular at the Astoria Night Club in London, where Nicky Holloway ran a club night called ‘The Trip’ and where DJ’s such as Andrew Weatherall, Carl Cox, Fabio & Grooverider and DJ Hype regularly played. SRS has been producing his own tracks for 3 years and is currently working on a project under the pseudonym Lakota Rayn, producing tracks in the Deep House and Organic House genres. His mixes are deep and diverse and this one is no exception!!

He began DJ-ing in the mid-1990s and played his first gigs supporting Chris Liebling, Robag Wruhme and Miss Kittin amongst others. He’s been making his own tracks since 2020 and his most recent release is the EP ‘Work, Life, Distance’ out on 4th November 2022 on his own label, We Have Cookies. He’s included three of his tracks in his mix, including the opener, ‘Spiegelwelt’.

Helping me Draw The Line this week it’s Kate Hex from Budapest, Hungary. She’s a relative newcomer to the scene but in a very short space of time she’s made quite an impact, signing her tracks to Mainground Music, Set About, Nova Collective, Pure Black and many more. Her entry in the recent Drumcode Mha Iri remix contest was runner up and her tracks have been played by artists like Kevin de Vries, Juliet Fox, Teenage Mutants and many others. Her DJ sets are a combination of old school sounds and modern elements creating dynamic driving techno sets. A Darker Wave, the best in underground techno, tech house, deep house and anything else we like enough to play in the show, presented by Jacki-e and P-Mac.

The guest mix in the 2nd hour is from Francesco Presotto aka Soulless who is from the north east of Italy. He began producing electronic music in 2010. His tracks, have been played by Sly Faux, Nicole Moudaber, Sonja Mooner, Cristian Varela, Pig&Dan and many others. At the end of 2018 he was booked to play the famous underground club ‘TwentyOne’ in Tampere, Finland and at one of the biggest European festivals, Amsterdam Dance Event. The techno he produces and plays comes from a passion for industrial and heavy sounds accented by hypnotic rhythms.

Jacki-E & P-Mac are influenced by techno, deep house, jungle, dnb and the ethos of the acid house raves and festivals of the early 90's.  If you listen carefully you can hear the underlying stories which have influenced them in their preference for the darker edge of electronic dance music.
Jacki-E & P-Mac write and publish their own original tracks and re-mixes, play DJ sets in clubs, at private parties and for radio shows and podcasts .
