This is Draw The Line Radio Show with Jacki-E, presenting the best music from female producers and DJs.
Helping me Draw The Line this week it’s Thought Criminal from Aberdeen in Scotland. A vinyl DJ known for hard, high-energy mixes combining industrial, acid and old skool techno with a liberal sprinkling of trance, rave and hard house, she’s inspired by the women and queer DJs who dominated Aberdeen’s club scene in the 90s and early 2000s, Her first DJ gigs were at Aberdeen LGBT clubs Castro’s and Fidel’s. Recent gigs include dark, dirty house in Dundee for Dirty as Funk where she holds a DJ residency; Edinburgh for all-womxn collective Epika; and brutal techno in a grain silo in Fife for Bad Bhudda. Last summer she headlined Sabotage, an underground party that has quickly grown into Aberdeen’s premier queer clubbing event. In June she’s DJ-ing at queer cabaret night Glory and a multi-rig free party. The set she’s done for us is an all vinyl- 90s classics, hard house with a hiNRG Trade vibe recorded at experimental queer performance event Crack.

Alan Dorve he has disclosed since he was young a great passion for electronic and dance music.  Lots year of mixture, during which he has improved his skills, being successful in finding the best music for any occasions, allowed him to become nowadays really a versatile deejay.

Travelling on the Spain, Ibiza, Europe and South America he worked as resident in private party, small clubs, renowned place and arranged great events.

His "Reflections" podcast, launched in 2021, explores the cutting edge of global electronic music, and his Barcelona-based project REFLECT, launched in 2025, is creating a vibrant community for artists and fans.

Acting in the hip hop scene since 1988, Cortecertu makes experimental beats. He is a contributor to the website Bocada Forte, the first hip hop website in Brazil, and produces beats for several artists in the alternative scene, including the band Decore.

As a  DJ Manjit was involved in the London club scene for two decades, starting when the underground  scene was at it’s peak. 

In 2012 he set up psytrance audio/visual act Beat Pushers and released his first EP, Piccadilly Circus.

Today Manjit is producing his own tracks and releasing them through various record labels such as BABA, Pan Music Records, Global Techno Alliance, Eternity Sounds, RevKon Records and of course through Audiobrain Productions.

Unfortunately now Manjit’s RA reached a level which meant he could no longer DJ. Unable to continue with his passion for playing music to a live audience Manjit now directs his energy into creating music in his studio. So now, through Audiobrain, Manjit releases his free downloads and EP’s and also through various other labels while he continues to battle with his pain. Despite the issues caused by his health he has  a passionate motivation for the genre of electronic music and is continuously extending his knowledge and skills in this area. He is interested in supporting others with their projects as long as they are able to keep an open mind regarding how his health can affect him day to day.
