This is my entry for the Beat Collective Challenge of 23rd March 2025 in which participants are given two or three samples with the challenge of including them in an original track.

This month's samples provided by Gary Frank (aka Gairaigo)

Beats - A collection of percussion sounds - starts with a showcase of each sound, then a few bars of them arranged in a pattern. Some of these sounds are cut from DSI Mopho samples. Hi hat sample based on a noise patch from ANA 2 VST synth. Kick is a couple of sounds layered together. 

Reverse Pad - started as a standard Pad in ANA 2, added some mid range saturation and distortion, Soundtoys Crystalliser “great doubler” effect, and Ableton Echo (ethereal canyon) for flavour.

I used the Reverse Pad in the intro as part of the build up and in both breakdowns.

I used the percussion sounds in the second breakdown to add tension, automating the EQ frequency and applying Saturation & Overdrive plus a little Reverb. I also put each percussion sound into a drum rack and then used them as ear candy throughout the track.

I try when it comes to producing drops of very crazy and very lively electronic sounds for festivals where crazy crazy vocals dominate and it is pure fire since I break it in the albums where I mix with that style I like lively music that is good slow and boring music I don't like to do it because it doesn't amuse me to do it follow your dreams guys

Jacki-E & P-Mac are influenced by techno, deep house, jungle, dnb and the ethos of the acid house raves and festivals of the early 90's.  If you listen carefully you can hear the underlying stories which have influenced them in their preference for the darker edge of electronic dance music.

Ive hit my limit of 2000 following, so if you dont mind waiting a week or so, those that want following back i will have a clear out then.Thanks.

I started mixing after attending underground music events in Birmingham UK around 2004 and was given the opportunity to play at some of the best clubs that the city had to offer after giving out demo cd’s. I enjoyed playing regularly on the Birmingham dance scene at nights such as Afterssential and Funkissentail @ Subway City where I played 4x4 speed garage in the back room and Hardhouse in the main room, I became a resident for Shine, one of the best after party clubs in Birmingham and moved on to playing techno influenced by Atomic Jam and House of God events that took place at the legendary Que Club in Birmingham. I moved abroad to work around 2012 and dj’ing fell to the wayside, but I continued to create mixes, mainly techno but also going back to my early years and creating funky house and Hardhouse mixes. Today I work full-time but like to create the Techclub series of monthly Techno mixes of tracks that are consistently on my listening schedule.
