Mooky Musik is the neurodivergent artist  alter-ego of  abstract artist Michael A Smith and an imaginary alternative reality, inter-dimentional digital record company Mooky Musik Recordings. The abstract art concept is made up of various experimental projects across social media platforms created by artist, musician, and neurodivergent creative advocate,  Michael A Smith for creating self awareness of neurodivergent creative's mental health and drug addiction issues globally, performing and making music and a global support network.

Mooky Musik Recordings is the abstract art music concept of Michael A Smith, which was created   in 2011 to help artists and musicians in recovery help  with their recovery from drug addiction and also inspire ex-addicts to make music!

Mooky Musik Recordings Neurodivergent Musicians Community Mission:

Michael has been on an ongoing music journey of recovery from 1996 by producing music for self-therapy and to help who are suffering in silence to help  mental health problems and symptoms as a coping mechanism.
In 1996, at the age of 19 years old, Michael suffered from drug addiction and drug induced pschosis and spent 10 weeks in rehab. 
It was the most traumatic experience of his life, as a neurodivergent artist, producer, singer-songwriter, and musician.  

Transformational Coach Michael A Smith is on a mission is to inspire ex-addicts with mental health problems to create healthy addictions like listening to and making music, help inspire others to help others cope with their ND symptoms and addictions to help guide themselves to their own birthright of inner-peace, mental wellbeing to create music for self-therapy and to potentially treat their diagnosis alongside mental health treatment globally.

Take a large bucket. Add a pint of Neil Young, a pinch of Glen Hansard. Wack in a tea spoon of Damien Rice, then an ickle bit of Tom Mcrae. Shove in a hand full of Mike Scott, a heaped table spoon of Neil Finn and a large dollop of Conor J. O'Brien. Mix with a big stick then strain through an old sock. Pour. What you have is a little bit of Mr C.

Hello good people of the cloud.
I play everything in real time and record and master on a Tascam DP 32 Portastudio. Although three of the older songs on here where recorded on a 8 track tape recorder through an old seck analogue desk.
No pc's are used or abused in the process of me music making. I love tactile recording. Switches, faders, pots and buttons. Mouses are for computers and eating cheese. No Mac, Daws or Windows, Midi or overused plugins. And no automated mixing, compromise being a large part of my final sound.

I love music that moves me. I play the guitar badly and the keyboard even worse but one day when I have time I plan to create something soooooo special that all wars will end and only love will reign. Or it might trigger Armageddon...Personally i'd prefer the former.
