Closure

This track explores how human connections can be so fragile and delicate. Too often, we take people for granted, thinking our relationships would stay forever and nothing could ever go wrong. Deep down, we all know this isn't true. Nothing lasts forever. This might seem like a bleak idea for some, but personally I find it somewhat beautiful.

In just about a few months, I'll be graduating high school. I'll move to a different city, study in a new school full of new people. I'll be away from the people I love dearly; my parents and beloved friends. All of this feels so unreal, I have to let go of almost everyone I know, and there's nothing that can be done about it.

Back when I first entered high school, I got separated from my very close friends as they are enrolled to a school different than mine. Suddenly, my life felt empty. Every day just felt so hollow. It hurts so much. Out of the fear of being heartbroken again, I would then go through three years of high school distancing myself from everyone, not making any close friends. I thought that it was a good idea. "You can't be separated from your friends when you don't have any friends in the first place," I thought.

Ever since the third year of high school, I've been opening myself up. I started making new friends again, being less avoidant towards people. I don't why I did that, but I did. Here I am, in the same position as I was three years ago, but somehow I don't regret a single thing. It's still painful, but I realized something I didn't three years ago: it's all worth it.

Like Glass

This is a mashup of 43 different themes from ZUN's "Touhou Project" videogame series.

Touhou have always been heavily influenced by Japanese culture, and the same could be said with this track...but with a twist. To me, one of the things that sets Touhou apart from other videogame franchises is diversity. There are so many different games, characters, soundtracks... Not to mention the astronomical amount of fanmade works; fangames, comics, music arrangements, artworks, and even a fully-fledged anime series. This diversity is further amplified by the equally, if not more diverse fans from all around the world.

Due to Touhou Project's global presence, I want to include sounds from outside of Japan, such as Western orchestral music and Indonesian Gamelan music. I think this is very fitting. In the past few years, Touhou has seen worldwide rise in popularity, gathering fans from all around the world. The vocals in this track are also in English instead of Japanese, another nod to Touhou's worldwide popularity.

I've always went the extra mile to bring something new to the realm of Touhou music, and the same is true for this track; a mashup of over 40 different themes from Touhou Project in a single, beautiful arrangement. This, is Anthem of Gensokyo. Please enjoy!

[東方] Anthem of Gensokyo (ft. Kurin T)

Hello everyone, I am back.

Wanted to give a brief update on what's going on, for those concerned:
I have been battling ADHD, OCD, and GAD for my entire life, and it has made my life more difficult than it should be. As a result, I seldom was happy with my own works, and never had the chance to let myself shine through my works. This went on for years, and is something I am still changing in myself. I have jumped across multiple aliases searching for a "fresh start", but never found it until I made a project meaningful to me, not a project I thought would be cool to someone else.
Currently, I have plans to start uploading more personal projects here every once in a while again. I may distribute those works with time. For the last few years, I have been making music as @seekingstars and have also gotten busier with life; as I mentioned earlier, plenty of battles, and new pursuits. But I don't want to leave music hating it, so I will continue to create music in pursuit of my own happiness.
