Lemonick - Locked Groove (SMBDL011)

The past year has seen Swiss producer Lemonick rise from relative obscurity to the fore of the club music world, releasing efforts on Nervous Horizons, Clubwerks and Car Crash Set, all while cultivating a bare bones, hybrid style that’s almost immediately recognizable. “Locked Groove” represents his arrival in the Symbols Download Series, a track that balances the rambunctious feeling of East Coast club forms with a serious, spaced out sense of sound design, all topped off with enough lick-driven funk flair to keep you moving throughout.
