Really loved this tune Jakob. This & "A little Waltz" are my favourites on the album

The first time I heard this tune, the chord changes & lovely note selection made my heart do a backflip. Hasn't changed after my 100th listen

I think there are different types of music, and music making....  there is the construction part,  there is manufacturing of music (not good in my opinion), then there is the intimate music,,, what I would call a gateway or window to a persons soul.  Often singers touch us with this,,, instumentalists, composers etc...   do this,,,  they pour their soul into the music,,,   I also think many electronic musicians do this,,,  however what we hear usually on the radio is manufacturing,,, "made in China" sort of thing.  Usually the singer does nothing except sing the song,,, the song itself is made in "visual basic",,, parts taken from here and there.   Thank God we still have indy scene,,, that´s where people really manage to do things wonderfully still,,,   and that´s the best thing about soundcloud in my opinion.

Well, back to the point,,,,  I get inspired by many things,,, very often by light and nature.  When I was coming home on my bike from work I had a sacred moment by the sea,,,   total calm and the birds where enjoying this wonderful day we got....   the picture is from that place...    So I had to do some music and this is what came out,,,  and it certainly feels like a gateway to my soul....     And now outside we have the northern lights :)

I am a  17 year old pianist from Hamburg, Germany. I began playing keyboard in my early childhood, but my style of music changed over the years and now, I would definitely consider myself more a piano player than a keyboard player. In the last few years, I fell in love with modern classical piano music. Yann Tiersen and Yiruma are some good examples, but the biggest influence to my own music comes from my idol, Ludovico Einaudi.
In the past few years, I began to see the piano not as a task my parents told me to do. Now it`s my biggest passion. I began to play the piano more sensitive than I used to. Playing with feelings: For me, this is the most important quality of a good piano player.
I composed my first piece in December 2012, it was a gift for my girlfriend. Now, composing is another of my passions, and it really is the best way for me to express my feelings and thoughts. On this page, I want to share these feelings with you all. Comments are always welcome, even if they are critic, noone of us is perfect. I wish you all a good time with my music.
