Rees landed on Bordello A Parigi with a bang. His “Three Eyes” track left dancefloors slippy and listeners wanting more. Thankfully, the Middlesborough musician only too glad to comply. Dream Wave collects three tracks that are emblematic of Rees’ enviable ability. A serial cross pollinator, genre lines are blurred before being rewritten. “A Dream Wave” melts rich basslines and muscled percussion with a daringly upbeat counter melody. La Mano returns to his Sound Du Jour label with an emotive three-tracker.

The title track on La Mano’s ‘Fabricca’ EP is a deep and evocative piece featuring heavy-duty reverbs, distant snares and gorgeous arp melodies. ‘Fabricca’ marks La Mano’s return to his Sound Du Jour label, following his 2021 ‘Tarvisio’ EP, which launched the label, and a remix for MAN 2.0’s ‘Synapse’ on the imprint shortly after. Since then, he has gone on to release a remix for Man Power on Me Me Me and work on releases with the likes of Andy Ash, Marcus Christiansen and Demetae via Sound Du Jour.

‘Fiume’ is up next on La Mano’s ‘Fabricca’ EP. It’s an ever-evolving dreamscape on an electro tip, digitised birdsong occasionally breaking through its vibrant layers of harmony. This is before ‘Onda’ closes out the release via rich pads, a gated vocal, and club-ready drums. It’s the perfect finish for another versatile and melodic offering on Sound Du Jour.

French-based electronic duo united by love and music, La Matrice combines various influences around house music with a musical signature made of quirky fusions and indie vocals.

The story starts in 2018 when they met. Gautier and Amalia, respectively DJ/producer and singer/songwriter, began creating their own music studio and producing together, giving birth to their first releases under the name of "Mimush & Ama."

In 2021, they decided to become "La Matrice" to highlight their new musical perspective, blending cosmic poetry and ethnic musical shades.

Driven by the same passion for 80s/90s sounds and borderless vibes, they started a new chapter in 2023 with the creation of "D.ssoc!8 Records," an open-minded music label eager to reveal unconventional artists on wax. The same year, they launched their live vocal project, fully made of original productions.

Passionate diggers, they also share a mesmerizing vinyl collection and recently started playing B2B, experiencing the pleasure of this format together behind the decks.

It is a pleasure to welcome Peaces, the project by Rizki S. Djanegara coming all the way from
Jakarta, Indonesia. Captivated by the sound of new wave, disco, rock and post-punk, Peaces music explores and seamlessly blends these styles and beyond without any boundaries. presenting an ethereal mantra like EP, a sonic adventure to forgotten lands. The two originals provide evocative dark and pulsating atmospheres with a raw edge and energy. A distilled blend of rock with ritualistic and exotic hints.

In remix duties his good friend also hailing from Jakarta Indonesia, Arvin Fajar takes “Poised Ranger” spicing it up, with a bouncy and hypnotic energy. Ghostly voices and fast percussion combined with a steady bassline result in a relentless trip.
Wrapping up the EP comes JGR who needs no introduction, an important member of the label’s family at this point. Taking “Hour Strike” and converting it into a frenetic travel with his signature acid groovy synths, sticky basslines and a touch of perfectly arranged raw beats. Culminating in a pumped up killer of a remix.

Some semi-avantgarde ambient jazz stuff with the Xtreme Lead and Beat Garden rom cards for my Proteus 2000 rompler. Effects from Valhalla. Drums programmed from a kit called Mantis. There is no limit to what fun you can come up with using these old Romplers. The sound is crisp and clear, not over the top. Hit the arpeggio and add some dirty delay. The light surging from the street lamps had slowly began to dwindle day by day, until it fizzed out completely leaving the village in total darkness. This presented an opportunity for chaos and calamity, for people to get away with mischief under the veil of the night sky; an opportunity they'd grab with two hands.

Jonny Rock returns will instalment six of his Disco Hamam VAs, flipping Middle-Eastern and Turkish gems into dance floor cuts. This time he calls on the talents of Japanese producer Hotaru, Radio Campus Besançon resident Red Lebanese and our friends over at Lyon's Hard Fist Records, Cornelius Doctor and Tushen Raï. While Hotaru and Red Lebanese take care of the A-side, the Hard Fist bosses take charge of the flip, twisting an 80s synth-pop jam into a psychedelic disco groover and giving a kitsch Hungarian electro hip-hop cut an acid house touch.

Jakob Mäder is a Stuttgart based DJ and producer who also performs live. His musical interest spans across different genres: ambient, disco, house, acid, and sometimes even techno inspired music.

Together with his crew Midnight Service he organises events with artists such as Johannes Albert, Philipp Schultheis or Panthera Krause, just to name a few. 

Ranging from reduced ambient to classic house inspired deep house or experimental breakbeat productions, his output as a producer reflects his eclectic taste as a DJ. Besides crafting his very own tracks, cheerful disco tracks result from his artistic work every now and then. 

He started his own label Constant Change in 2021.
