Makin' Moves was set up in the Summer 2012, a new music and events company set up by Matt Langrish-Smith and Jamesey D. Makin' Moves nurtures up and coming talent, aswell as collaborating with established names. Matt has a wealth of experience under his belt having previously worked for dance independents Papa Records and Tribe Records UK, an internationally acclaimed label and events company. Jamesey, along with hosting his own radio show on www.housefm.net since 2004, has been an essential cog in the wheel of London's soulful & deep house scene, independently performing at most of the major parties in London swell as guest spots abroad in Japan, New York and Dubai. 

The label has seen a heavy output of quality releases this year from the likes of Dazzle Drums from Japan, DJ Fudge & Hallex M from Hong Kong and UK soul singer Omar, Gianluca Pighi & Massimo Paramour from Italy and Tiger Wilson from New York all of which have reached the top positions on digital promo store Traxsource.com.
The Makin' Moves Radio Show is every Thursday on www.housefm.net from 8-10pm (GMT) with Matt L-S and Jamesey on rotation.

European/German with Japanese ancestry is born, raised, lived and worked in Düsseldorf, Germany, Nobu Furukawa a.k.a NOBU DUS started buying music since the age of 12. 
By the late 80s, he got heavily involved in House Music due to the greats like Tony Humphries, Frankie Knuckles, Larry Levan, David Mancuso and CJ Macintosh, just naming a few who inspired him much. 

His DJ sets are often soulful, warm that bolsters out smooth vocals, bouncing bass, and vibrant layers of percussive beats, that are sparking big smiles when he stands the decks. 

Currently, he resides in Kyoto, Japan, where he hits the local scene demoing the crowd with the latest underground gems.

With a passion rooted in the early ’90s, DBR has been spinning deep, soulful, and uplifting house music since 2005. Known for a distinctive style that blends rich, emotive grooves with underground rhythms, DBR brings a timeless energy to every set.

DBR first made waves on the airwaves in the early 2000s with radio shows on platforms like 99.3FM (99.3.com) and Clubtown TV, later moving on to influential stations such as Select UK 89.6 and Push FM. These residencies helped carve out a reputation for delivering sets that move both heart and feet.

No stranger to the London club scene, DBR has graced the decks at some of the city’s most iconic venues, including SeOne Club, Ministry of Sound, and The Yacht Club, among many others.

Driven by a lifelong love for music, DBR’s sets are a journey through sound — always soulful, always deep!
