Theres not many djs with a history of creating a party as well as playing at them as Stuart Wilkinson.
After spending most weekends raving at Lakota, Karanga, Cafe Blue and driving all over the south west in the late 90’s, he soon moved from Weston super Mare to Bristol and started his own club night Empathy at Bar Latino in 2001, weekly Thursdays for over 4 years, then moving to various venues across the city such as Timbuk2, Blue Mountain, Motion and Native.
The night continued into its second decade at Dojo and celebrated its 15th Birthday at the 02 Academy with John Digweed and Nick Warren in 2016. 
Not many promoters have brought as many dis to Bristol, with the likes of Darren Emerson, Henry Saiz, James Zabiela, Lee Burridge, James Holden, Dave Seaman, Adam Freeland, Locodice, Timo Maas and many more. It was the 21st Birthday that really took the roof off in 2022 with Laurent Garnier taking centre stage.
Stuart is also responsible for the rise and creation of Mr Whompy, for a decade the Ice Cream Van Soundsystem has been a firm favourite at Boomtown, Elrow, NIbley, Stoke Croft Block Party, Lemonfest and many more. 
Over the years Stu has also started various other club nights such as Unity at Lakota, Loop at Blue Mountain, Hope at Arc, Digital at Dojo, Dirty Blue and Arc, Empathize at Big Chill and Double Disco at various venues.
Stuart has also been lucky enough to play Glastonbury many times and overseas in Empathy in Auckland, Prague and Ibiza and dis gigs in Portugal and Poland plus Creamfields in Prague.

  Renny Constantine has been into House since the early 90's; growing up in a city known for its birth of good music. Listening to his older sisters House music tapes on her stereo when she was out at nightclubs, he knew this was going to be the music he would have a tie with for the rest of his life. In the late 90's he latched to the UK garage sound joining DJ’s, Hector C and DJ Crem, clubbing around the country. He watched UK garage marry house and then saw the divorce. Years later [in an off chance meeting on a bus] he was handed a flyer by Chicago's own, David "Chicago Dave" Gandy. Little did he know that this would form a friendship to span over many year’s. Dave taught Renny the basics of finding himself before projecting to others and was then given his first break. Although not taking up DJ’ing until 2003, his progression has come thick and fast. He started out by playing deep house in various bars in Bristol with the Canadian outfit Tongue & Groove (Pancho, Aaron & Dave) back in 2005, and the valuable lessons learned through their 50 combined years of experience set Renny up for the next chapter in his music. Fast forward to 2007, and you could find him moving on to playing a darker sound with fellow DJ, Jay Russell, forming the Dirty Sound Technicians and playing across the country. Since getting to grips with the performance side of things with his DJ’ing, Renny has made a bond with old school friend, Paske, in order to make that next evolutional step into production. He and Paske have since joined Andy Childs to produce for the BulletProofSonics imprint. After years of hard work, Renny Constantine’s style has come to full fruition. His is a selection of deep/jacking/tech house, with a few wild cards for good measure. The result has created a sound that cannot be defined. Using his club experience of the house & garage events in the late 90's, he learned to hone his unique sound of driving bass lines, '4-step' and straight up 'bleeps' that will have you begging for more. Renny has played alongside a variety of DJ’s including: Lottie, Yousef, Audiojack, MYNC Project, Deepgroove, Sammy Jo (scissor sisters) and Russell Deeks (I-DJ magazine). Various gigs includes playing at “Nature”, at Timbuk2, along side Emmalease and Eva-Marie (Sax@phonic), a night featuring good friend Stuart Wilkinson of Empathy fame. He has carried residencies in Bristol for Chicago, DirtyBlue, Drama and Koolwaters, with several appearances across the UK, Jamaica and Ibiza. Currently, Renny can be found beatin’ out the tunes at nights like “Digital” and “Barbarella” at Dojo (Bristol), Rehab (Swindon), and Empathy on occasion. When home, you'll find Renny knocking around in his home town of Bristol in underground clubs enjoying all the above. He’s a nice guy, sometimes stating "one of the last of a dying breed", that loves house music, good people, good times, and is known for being down for the cause of “Music”.

Empathy has been putting on events for over 10 years, with an array of djs and producers from Nick Warren to James Holden to Timo Maas to Adam Freeland to James Zabiela, Empathy covers a broad spectrum from electro to breaks to tech house to progressive, its always been a messy party since the Summer Specials on the terrace on a Thursday night at Bar Latino to the Empathy allnighters in its 2nd home in Prague to the mental boat parties down the river avon. 
Emerging to Bristols clubbing scene at Bar Latino in 2001 holding weekly Thursday nights until it closed in easter 2005, after a 2 succesful boat parties moved to the underground Timbuk2 on Small St. Now on the move again we have various parties across Bristol with the highlight of the summer being the One + One tour with James Zabiela & Nic Fanciulli.
Empathy continues to pride itself on top dj's great lighting and visuals in some of the finest venues on offer.
In 2011 Empathy celebrated its 10th Birthday with a series of parties with Nick Warren, Ulrich Schnauss Live alongside the superb residents.

Empathy continues in 2011 at its monthly home Dojo on the 3rd Saturday of each month at Dojo on Park Row in Bristol till very late indeed!

Stuart Wilkinson
A resident from the very beginning, he has been the backbone to the Empathy tour bus, he is responsible for making Empathy what it is today hes a great dj , plays Progressive and Tech House and can really rock the crowd at any time of the night.
Stuart has played at some of the best clubs in Europe and played alongside some of the biggest names in dance music.

Dave Kirik 
Dave is one of the best resident Djs you will ever find, having been in the scene for nearly 20 years he has a unique sound and has a collection of some of the best electro, breaks and beats in any record box, Dave’s style expands the music on offer at Empathy and really does give the nights that little bit of variation.
