MELTA’s bold selections have earned her a respected presence in Naarm’s bass music community. She’s known for her curation of uniquely gritty, grimey and energetic beats across the bass music spectrum. With her sound and style built on foundations in drum and bass rollers, minimal & jump up, her range extends to garage, dubstep, jungle and beyond. Her energetic selections are guaranteed to keep the floor shaking and your booty moving.

In a few short years she has dominated support sets for international drum and bass heavyweights Breakage, Jappa, Napes, T>I, Pola & Bryson, Ed Solo, Strategy, Annix, Basstripper and more.

Festival bookings at Esoteric, Touch Bass, The DOT,  Eden Festival, Sub Terra, Dragon Dreaming and The DOT have seen her quickly solidify her presence in the Australian bass music community.

As a true and tragic bass fiend to her core, when she’s not dishing out girthy rollers you’ll find her front row on the dancefloor. She's immersed in bass behind the scenes too as both a curator of her own events at SUB:SOLAR, platforming local talent through a regular Guest Mix Series, as well as booking and consulting on larger scale events as a partner with Melbourne's respected Twisted Audio team.

Most recently she has launched her latest project 'The Exchange Cypher', a grass roots open-mic night designed to offer a judgement free point of entry for budding MCs and vocalists to practice their craft with some of Melbourne's best bass DJs without fear of judgement.
