Inspired by the incredible soundtrack to the Snowman (composed by Howard Blake), this was great fun to work on, and highly appropriate considering the amount of snow in Calgary this week! 

Plenty of care went into the expressive detail of each line to create an organic sense of build and a magical quality. The piano part is something I have had in my head for years, I would often sit down and play it but this is the first time it has been set within a composition. 

Eventually this will form part of a whole suite, but for now, we have this short snippet of a wintery wonderland. I hope you like it, please share and comment!
