Ever felt like life is passing you by?

Ticking down the time.
Nowhere at the speed of light,
Nothing in my mind.
A dream of futures past.
Precious in my heart,
But it never came to pass.
Rearranged all my drawers of memory's worn out socks,
Corrected all my broken lifetime's kitchen clocks.
Just ticking down the time.

Ticking down the time.
Backwards at the speed of life,
Burdened in my mind.
Who stole it all away?
The clarity of thought
That defined me yesterday.
Dusted all the volumes on my memory's shelf,
Time-lapsed photographic of my former self.

Tomorrow calls in shades of black,
I swear these walls are staring back,
We waltz our falls in spiral mime,

Lights out on the road ahead,
Fog come down behind.
Ready to anoint
The corpse of a life history
Shrivelled to a point.

Building from "Next Choice", Seagull's existential examination of choices mankind faces that will determine our destiny, he moves to the x-factor of Artificial Intelligence, how it is impacting us now, and how it may impact our future as a race depending on who holds the reigns of its development and application.  It is at once both scary and promising, but we must choose "who programs the programmer". This one's for you Santi...
Two months ago our dear and wonderfully talented friend and musician Santi Caballero Mendez was killed in a tragic motorcycle accident in his hometown of Barcelona.  Sam and I had recorded over 50 tunes together yet we had never spoken.  To honor Santi, we have created our tribute Missing You - with 17 different musicians around the world who had recorded with Sam in my music.  The music brings out so many emotions for me, sadness, joy, passion, playfulness, and of course the incredible latin spirit.   Each section of the piece has different musicians, and so many musicians appear and reappear throughout the piece - but often with different supporting casts.  In the end, a moving tribute from so many of Soundcloud's very finest.  Thank you all for joining in as we honor Santi - and thank you Santi...we're Missing You:
