Boson Spin - Brondvord [part 2]

I love me some Zep, and I love this riff from How Many More Times. So, I recorded a jam track using it as the basis for the groove...and invited my good friend (well, EVERYONE's good friend) Tom Adams to jam with me. I play the the main riff and take the first and third passes, Tom goes second and takes us home. HowManyMoreTimesJam(with Tom Adams)

Longtime friend Clint Culwell and I got together to practice and record some of his songs and covers, and jam a little as well.  Out of the session came this little gem, a unique, slightly reggae take on a traditional favorite.  Clint is left center on vocal and nylon string guitar; I am right center doing some ornamenting on steel sting guitar and playing bass. For more music from Clint check out his Cloud @Clint-Culwell.

Ladders of madness – to nowhere;
Painted out canvasses – laid bare

With camphor on cotton wool, pressed to my face,
Recounting histories filtered through lace,
Made by widows with fingers of wax and faces of bone.

A lifetime of daydreams – unspoken,
Like windmills in jetstreams – stand broken.
A khamsin-blown gold dust extracted by fools
Dangling their trinket polystyrene jewels.
Double up the cortisone, cradle my head,
As it cracks on its axis of cruciform lead,
Smelted from church roofs at Easter by Satan’s condoned.

Lay my corpse serried – and kindly,
Leave it unburied – for vermin to find me.
Cripples with broken teeth weeping in cells,
For sins I committed knowing full well,
That penance unfolds as eternity extends
My story untold, my mannequin pretends,
From his box 'neath the window framed by gargoyles of stone.

RE-CONCEPTUAL MOTION
__________The Mystique and Myrh had already decided to stay forever on the Asteroid of the Holiday, but the Myrh's wristwatch sounded, notifying friends that something interesting had arisen somewhere in the galaxy that required study.

At that moment, she remembered that they had landed here in search of fuel, but then something went wrong. Of course, the smell of space fuel growing everywhere on this asteroid could not but tempt the mystic to taste it. And his genuine joy on this occasion could not fail to persuade Myrh to follow his example.

For days on end, they looked at the stars, jumped on space-fuel buds like on trampolines and had fun, forgetting about everything in the world. This is why this place is called the holiday asteroid

The memory returned, and although the fun had to temporarily cease (although Mystique was only persuaded to return to the ship after he tore off a huge loaf of space-fuel plant and put it in his backpack), a joyful feeling arose inside. Because new adventures always lead us to new discoveries. This is something worth traveling for
