Hippo & friends have taken that bass driven 2Steppin’ beat and brought the fusion it’s never known before. And boy they didn’t hold back on the global, ska, salsa and bhangra garage. 2Steppin’ up has taken garage to directions we didn’t know were possible, bringing you this compilation of 10 earth shaking UKG bombs.

As if that wasn’t enough to be proud of! All profits raised from 2Steppin’ Up will be donated to a charity that we love, Music 4 Children.
Who have been doing fantastic work bringing support and relief to some of the poorest and most underprivileged children in Nepal and the UK. From basic food and shelter to musical and creative workshops. The support and love Music 4 Children give is huge and we are so happy to be able to support them on their mission!

Originally from Chicago, where I developed a strong appreciation for the blues and classical, and moved to New York, where jazz and the fine arts are so deep.  Key musical influences include Miles Davis, Herbie Hancock, Jimi Hendrix, Joe Zawinul and Weather Report, Chick Corea and Return to Forever, John McLaughlin and the Mahivishnu Orchestra, Stanley Clarke, Scott Henderson and Tribal Tech, Jeff Beck and Jan Hammer, Mike Stern, John Scofield, Pat Metheny, Emily Remler, McCoy Tyner, Bill Evans, John Coltrane, Jimmy Smith, Joey DeFrancesco, Larry Young, Buddy Guy, Santana and Earth Wind & Fire.
