We're All Feeling The Blues these days and this original reflects today's most challenging times.  It's a mess across so many places around the world and more than difficult for everyone.  Our thoughts go out to everyone as we are in this all together.  Joining on this blues are three other musicians from around the world, Vlad Olley, Georg Boehme and Gernot Baur.  Vlad is a really fine blues guitarist and also brings his blues harp (left channel) out to add to the authentic blues sound. Reach For The Sky is one of those collaborations that brings it all together with great musicians and great friends.  A big project that in total was more than 1GB, this soulful original gives everyone a chance to make statements and a chance for some fine ensemble work too.  Scotland's highly versatile Annie Smart so emotionally adds her voice and harmonies, Germany's Georg Boehme is on Bari Sax on this track, and Spain's Sam Mendez plays the flute.  Both weave in and out between the vocals, and above the wonderful bass of Italy's Daniele Petrocchi.  And playing guitars is Daniele Turani, also of Italy.  Everyone's in such fine form and it all gels so beautifully.  Follow each of these great players and creators.
