We're all On the Lowdown these days, trying to understand the significance of the issues around us.   And I couldn't think of a better way to spend some time than to bring together some of my very favorite musicians I have met from around the world, with our original On the Lowdown.   Special musicians contributed to this - two exceptional guitarists from the Philadelphia area - Audric Jankauskas and Stephan Lipinski, Barcelona's Sam Mendez on tenor sax, and Germany's Mirko Borach playing the beautiful fretless bass. Anyone wanna dance?  Joined here with Stringburner and Pinner on our funky original, Stay Low.  The right message for the time, with the worldwide social distancing and isolation priorities.  But that doesn't mean you can't enjoy a solid groove.  This one reminds me of John Scofield's classic Uberjam.   As always, Mirko's bass is driving the bus, and Pinner just can't help himself, pushing it inside and outside and creating that infectious syncopated groove.  It's my 61st and 70th tunes with these special friends!

Italian recording artist Daniele Turani http://www.danieleturani.com joins me here on our original, Constitution.  Love his musical interpretation as his great guitar and whammy bar complements the heavy synth lead, world textures, and trap beats.  The title of the tune speaks to the struggles we are having in the US as our party in charge continues to recklessly tear down the historical centuries old laws upon which our country was framed.

Annie's such a complete musician, having grown up in a truly musical family that has been carried on for generations.
