Ajele from Switzerland provides Healing Session 6. Since 1996 she’s an inherent part of Zurich’s electronic music scene and traveled through different styles. It's been over 2 years since I taught a "yoga class".  I spend a considerable time choosing and mixing the music. There are four sections each of which indicated by a gong. The first section was inspired by the earth element. The second, water, the third fire and the fourth air. My guidance is completely spontaneous and unprepared. This is how I like to teach. No agenda - just a great sound track and let the energy in the room shift naturally. I threw a curve ball at the end of the water element stage - why? Why not? I like the track and gives me goosebumps. Enjoy!

I warmly welcome you to this set and I thank you for being a part of the new Ibiza that we are creating with every step we take.

Forgive me, I was so involved in the moment, that I just completely forgot to record the first 25 minutes of the set...

But luckily the largest part of the set is here for you to enjoy and to dance on in your living room, around the fire, in your car, at work, in the gym and even while riding your bike...

This is a personal invitation to invite your tribe and dance like nobody is watching. 

🪵 Soulna is magical place for well-ness & well-being immersed in nature with sauna’s & hot tub. Here beautiful conscious beings came together to honor grandfather fire and the celebrate the new Ibiza that's on the horizon. 

🌿 The shamanic fire ceremony was guided by Aura Ananda, a medicine woman, spiritual singer and voice activator rooted on Ibiza, sharing her divine gift for more than 30 years.

🤲🏻 Together we made an offering to the fire, activated our voices, sang shamanic songs and moved our bodies, giving freedom to our inner flames to be expressed. 

🔥 Ibiza Conscious Club’s founding father Lorahn & Aura (w/ live voice) accompanied by Jake Jembé and Louki Jembé guided us into special, tribal fire dance to celebrate life in pure ecstasy.

Sabrina ‘Estrellita’ @galexica is a passionate Sound Creatrix, breathwork guide and visionary, creating consciousness expanding experiences, based out of ‘THE SPACE - within You’, located in Cabarete, on the North Coast of Dominican Republic. 

Through 21 years of living her life as a ‘free spirit’ (15+ years in Cabarete) and walking her own path to healing, Sabrina has become a grounded, empathic and highly intuitive space holder, that brings a wealth of soul wisdom, life skill and infinite creativity into her offerings, such as transcendental Breathwork, sound journeys, sonic harmonization, ecstatic dance and special co-creations with other healers & artists.

‘GALEXiCA’ was birthed into existence after Sabrina’s “musical soul awakening” in 2021 and has since began fusing her artistic approach with holistic healing modalities to create magical, transformational and genuine inner experiences that allow people to deeply connect with themselves and each other.

"As you all might be trapped during a global pandemic, I take the opportunity to tell you the story of this mix.

Since I taped DJ mixes in the good old days of youth radio my interest in electronic music was ever filled with passion for new music that touches my self as a whole. Although I do often wander into the deep fields of house I always try to explore new regions - as there is beauty in everything.

My love for downtempo was started by the aging of my outer shell and the legendary performance from Martha at Kalkutta (https://soundcloud.com/marthavanstraaten/martha-aufm-kutter-fusion-festival-2015). A magical journey into thoughtful moving body parts, thru time slowing waves of sound - Love at first sight ❤️. On the dance floor, you would have seen the question mark over my head and a big smile on my face. Again mother fusion had told me a lesson - "Move slow and take care of each motion my son." 

The most memorable lesson was again taught by her. This time we were traveling through the waves of people that were flooding the streets. As walking became impossible we had enough, jumped on the metallic horses and rode to the secret nudist beach, seeking for more conscious environment.

Manoeuvring the space ship into a different reality, hundred light years away from what ever that was. I can't remember any more because master Niju was playing a 5h sunset live performance for us and the other 20 people (https://soundcloud.com/niju-1/fernab-der-fusion-2018-live). Truly a one of a kind moment - "Follow your heart and you will always find what you searched for" 

I was strongly wrapped in the arms of slow music and my interest has grown ever since. But to really understand something, you still need time.

As long as I can remember I collect music, starting even before mp3 was a thing. But it would take until college before I got hold of some good old 1210s (I had some crap before). After this, it again took a huge amount of time to switch to the digital world in 2020. This new freedom of playing what you want in the tempo of your choice has revitalised my love for making music and creating DJ mixes.

From 135 bpm techno to 105 bpm deep house to 90 bpm Downbeat. From ethno to industrial. While exploring new ways to discover music I stumbled across even slower and more gentle creations. With labels like Fértil Discos, an idea was evolving in my mind - "How slow could you go while still ordering those hips to move?" - so I created the term Downbient as a placeholder for this idea. A combination of two of my favorite activities, relaxing and slow hip shuffling with their musical counterparts Downbeat and Ambient. (Yeah ok, I didn't invent it but I swear I've never heard it before).

With this in mind, I started gathering all kinds of sounds and experiences to let them lead my way. In my dream, the story should be able to lead you in every possible state of mind. Flow through the people that take a break after a long night of dancing as well to use it's magical spell on the energetic dancers in the front row. In a way, sending a connecting message to everybody. 

But better ask your sub-woofer for a date and check for yourself if the dream can face the miserable real world.  

Requirements for this trip: Only experienced astronauts should risk traveling this musical space craft through the universe of the mind. ;)

These dances are a gift from my soul to yours ❤

Dance has become a part of me and shaped who I am. My passion for dance stems from the 90s, when I first discovered London's vibrant house music scene. The exhilaration I felt on the dancefloor led me to seek out the classes at the legendary London Central YMCA, which immediately felt like home. Before long I was teaching my own high-energy aerobics classes at the YMCA, using my evolving DJ skills to create lively soundtracks for the dancers.

I subsequently settled into a more spiritual approach to life, trained in a gentle yet profound style of yoga, which I practice daily, and also qualified as a psychotherapist.

About a dozen years ago I discovered the pioneering work of Ecstatic Dance London's Seth Newman, and it felt like another homecoming. I now run my own ecstatic dances and am known to inspire deeply transformative as well as joyful experiences.
 
My live DJ sets include a blend of music genres from tribal beats, afro, latin, organic, progressive, uplifting house through to techno. I intuitively weave powerful rhythms and harmonies to help you journey through your emotions, shake off physical and emotional tensions and move towards a rich sense of wholeness, of connection with yourself and others. 
 
My Dancing Freedom fundraiser events are held in a beautiful woodland glade, using silent headphones. More info can be found here:
