The first official mix from the Evil Twin - Mini Da Minx & Madame Electrifie. My good friend Geordy Carson booked me to play Live at Fozzy Fest in 2012 as Elite Force. It was a heavy weekend that involved shows in Denver, Philadelphia and in the Kananaskis mountains, two hours outside of Calgary ... not to mention two transatlantic flights and 72-hours of sleep deprivation!

Fozzy Fest was epic. Set in incredible mountain surroundings, it was like a small-scale version of Shambhala, built with love and forged through community. This high-quality recording of the event suddenly materialized through the ether in 2021 ... and it's really not bad at all! 

This was an interesting time for music - this set is a journey through multiple genres and is very much about sustaining a real sense of peak-time energy.

Many of the photographers have their idents on the photos I used to piece this tribute to FozzyFest together. Their work is inspiring and exceptional, so please check them out via the FozzyFest Facebook page.

Hella fun time at the inaugural Dust Bunnies party last Sunday at District Six! This was a fantastic collab between Space Cowboys and Heavy Petting Zoo, featuring a roster of top notch local DJ talent, plus a special surprise set from Dave Dresden to send us off into the night. 

We only forgot one little super important thing... we didn't record. But I had so much fun playing booty breaks that I went home and immediately replayed+recorded the set for the interwebs!

Look, I'm going to miss playing my 2nd ever Breakfast of Champions New Year's Day party since the whole thing began back in the 1900s. I'm not mad about it—it's good to mix things up now and then, so while a bunch of my favorite humans are getting grinnin' & sweatin' with Space Cowboys n friends over at the block party in front of The Great Northern, I'll be skiin' & grinnin' in the snow.

This is not a promo mix and I’m not trying to generate work off the back of it, it’s simply a mid-tempo DJ mix.  I have been collecting tracks for a while that didn’t seem to fit anywhere in my sets, but that I really love, so I decided to put them into a mix in their own right… music with a late night, deep & sleazy electronic feel, full of atmosphere, with a splattering of dark funk thrown in. 

I’ve got plenty of brand new peak time releases coming shortly on my Lowering The Tone imprint, from Pook/ & Lola, Lee Coombs, Matt Goddard/Dopamine, Ben Coda, Carbon Kingdom and myself, but in the meantime welcome to the “Den Of Iniquity” :-)

What an amazing experience Love Burn 2023 was. A highlight was definitely getting to play at The Freakeasy's Kitty Kat Island on Saturday night to an amazing crowd and in front of…an articulated giant cat that shoots lasers! LAZER CAT.

I also had the opportunity to play a lot of the original tracks I'd been working on for the past year including one I did the weekend before the Burn and another I wrote specifically for the Burn. I hope you enjoy this journey! It's got a little something for everyone.
