Like the short lyrics' meaning "love has no hurry", music makes contrasts on rhythms and textures even inside each part: Main theme starts with fast drums on slow melodies & has a DANCEABLE? 2nd part with lead bass guitar; Central theme makes fast tracks become slow to the left channel and vice-versa, progressing to a POST-ROCK? atmosphere. Meanwhile, two lead guitars and echoing voices complete the contrasting piece. I hope to get your feedback !!!

This is the second song that DeeP. and I began together. I really enjoy working on these darker tracks with DeeP. and exploring themes of depression, anxiety, fear, and shame. This song was inspired by a person that I was working with who would call me evil whenever he saw me. Even with me being as positive and non judgmental as possible, I am sure I was seen as another person telling him what to do and making decisions for him based on judgmental criteria. I think these are feelings many of us have had and it can be easy to relate to, though difficult to confront. 

I am grateful that we always have an opportunity to grow, learn, reflect, and evolve as individuals, communities, nations, and as a species. May we all be better to each other. 

Giant thanks to DeeP. for working with me on this track. And huge thanks to Nick for joining me on this first track together. I have long enjoyed and felt inspired by Nick’s creative and experimental guitar work and musicianship. I am super glad to have his vibe on this track!

I am a frozen statue, watching seasons come and go, feeling changes, doing nothing, forever...
Last movement of the rock symphony, where I pay tribute to, and play, my mom's spanish guitar.
Main theme (bass E1-A1...E1-A1-E2...), appears all along the album, and also main themes of other 3 movements sound here as refrains (Vienen y van / Hora tras hora) which are thus sung over 4 different musics ;) E-Ruizzo project is finished, what's to come?... below translated lyrics.

Only a person with a twisted mind would record something like this.

Close to the edge, long term pressure - society in full crises. Death rates, stockpiling. When will it end? Will it end? Will there be a 2nd wave, a more dangerous one? For how long time will the world be f' up?

Instruments forced to appear on tape where: IBANEZ ELECTRIC GUITAR, BOSS ME80 PEDAL EFFECTS, GUILD 12-stringed GUITAR, HAGSTROM 6s acoustic GUITAR, ALESIS DRUM PAD, ROLAND FA06 KEYBOARD.

Recorded under considerable worry in March 2020 when states in Europe started to lockdown. Added further guitars the 5th May in a sudden flash of inspiration. Thanks also to a good old SC friend for a comment on a draft that made me considering finalizing the track!

I could now try to hide behind a claim like "this was just for fun", "it's not a real track", etc; but, actually, this is rather me: this is what I do, when nobody stops me!

I had been really wanting to make new music with Calebass. I have been making a lot of songs that lean more heavily toward hip hop the last couple years and felt like heading back toward the direction of my earlier years on SoundCloud. Luckily Calebass was willing and ready and the music flowed easily and steadily. Jon did an amazing job adding an element of jazz with his bass and Janine really awakened the psychedelic spirit and Age of Aquarius with her vocals. It was extra bonus to have both Sinfields participate in this song making this a real SC family affair. Lyrically, I was inspired by the children’s book, Ox-Cart Man, which I love, and all the felt mouse toys I recently made for my cat at my daughter’s request.
