I present to you for the World Piano Day 2021 a wonderful Jazz standard from the 1960's called "Make Someone Happy"
Written by Jule Styne for the 1960 Broadway musical "Do-Re-Mi"
Played by many but most notably recorded by the amazing Bill Evans for his album Alone (Again) (recorded in December 1975 but not released until 1977)

The Classic Cowboy Song.  A slow spare version.  I originally intended to do a different recording of this but I think I'll leave it as it is, bare bones and all.  
I have a long time affection for this song as we used to sing it in grade-school.  I was reminded of it recently because I can see a herd of buffalo from my dining-room window.  Thanks as always for listening.  Debbie

I present for you a very loose adaptation of the wonderful "Gone With The Wind" . Written in 1937 by Allie Rubel and possibly related to the Margret Mitchell novel. It has been covered many times by many great artists, including the great Bill Evans. The most successful version was by the wonderful Jazz guitarist Wes Montgomery on 1960.

It was composed by Vernon Duke in 1934 for the Broadway musical “Thumbs Up!”, which opened on December 27, 1934, performed by J. Harold Murray.

by Charles Gounod into what is commonly called "Ave Maria". Now adapted by me .
