As days go by, Brazilian DJ João Pedro is increasingly becoming synonymous with his alias, Traffic Jam, a name that represents house music filled with groove, repertoire, and personality. His first contact with electronic music occurred in Brazil’s most famous playground: Warung Beach Club. Subsequently, the Radiola collective emerged as a natural evolution of the passion for music shared among a group of friends, with João being part of the label from the very beginning.
The name “Traffic Jam” originated from a collaboration with another Radiola member; through this project, the two friends aimed to create music so invigorating that it could turn even a traffic jam into a pleasant moment. Over the years, João Pedro has maintained a solo project and has been fulfilling his mission with an unparalleled ability to perceive the sensations of the dancing crowd. This characteristic has led him to be booked at some of the most incredible dancefloors in the country and around the world, such as Warung, Beehive, D-Edge, Club Vibe, Colours, Levels, and the Amsterdam Dance Event, as well as in cities like London and Barcelona.

João Pedro não nasceu Traffic Jam, mas vem se tornando cada dia mais parte deste codinome, que hoje é sinônimo de house music com groove, repertório e personalidade. O primeiro contato do curitibano com a música eletrônica aconteceu no playground mais famoso do Brasil: o Warung Beach Club. Foi da paixão da turma de amigos pela música no “templo” que nasceu o coletivo Radiola, do qual João faz parte desde o início.
Traffic Jam (engarrafamento, em inglês) começou como uma dupla, através do projeto os amigos buscavam criar um som tão revigorante que pudesse transformar até um engarrafamento num momento agradável. João Pedro manteve o nome em projeto solo, e vem cumprindo sua missão com capacidade ímpar de perceber as sensações do público que está dançando, o que tornou realidade apresentações nas mais incríveis pistas de dança do país e do mundo, como Warung, Beehive, D-Edge, Club Vibe, Levels, Colours, no Amsterdam Dance Event e também em cidades como Londres e Barcelona. 
Hoje Traffic Jam é respeitado no cenário artístico por sua habilidade, por sua seleção apurada que surpreende e intriga, explorando todos os tempos, as melodias e levadas da house music numa mistura ousada e totalmente original.
