In the United States, the gatekeepers to the prison pipeline are our prosecutors. They have the power to decide a person's fate, but rarely are they part of the conversation about criminal justice reform.

Adam Foss served as a prosecutor with the Suffolk County District Attorney's Office in Boston, and in his work he learned that finding alternatives to incarceration changes lives. Founder and President of Prosecutor Impact, Foss makes his case why prison reform must begin with how society prosecutes.
