Project Lionheart (PLH) is a live Hip-Hop band based out of Seattle, WA. Frontman/MC Caleb Cunningham, who is grounded in Hip Hop music, has recruited a small group of players with backgrounds varying from Gospel and Reggae to West African percussion, in order to create a truly unique form of Hip-Hop music. Their albums “The Art of Resistance”, “Shoebox Radio”, “The Urban Circus EP” and "Civilian", reveal a sound that blends live instrumentation and electronic sampling with conscious and passionate lyrics.

Alex Kies was born in a small town in Missouri in 1988. He began teaching himself piano at the age of 13. At the age of 17 he began writing his own music and has since blossomed into a pianist with over 100 pieces to his name. His style ranges in taste from Beethoven to Glass. His improvisational technique is that of a uniqueness that is undefined, yet echoes that of Chopin and Liszt. He can move you from happiness to tears to awe.
