Over the last 20 years i have held residencies at the world famous Sub Club in Glasgow, Mas, with Glasgow Disco King Billy Woods & various secret after-hours venues all over the city of Glasgow, particularly a certain one on Bridge Street, after a Pressure party, in olden times.

In Europe i have held a residency on the Electro Juice Boat in Bordeaux for 15 years and at the Wunderboat soiree's on Bordeaux's premier venue, The IBoat. 

My biggest influences are local legends Subculture, of Sub Club, Glasgow, where i've covered warm ups and closing slots for residents Harri and Domenic, my other main and equal influence is Slam, particularly during the Daft Punk years, me having ran their promo in the mid 90's and being part of their team that started and promoted the Pressure party in the late 90's.

Although i have also ran a lot of my own nights alongside managing the promotions team at the Sub Club for 10 years, it's the love and joy in performance that keeps bringing me back to being behind the turntables and playing records as a form of artistic expression.

Having lived in Den Haag Netherlands for some time, i am now back in Glasgow and available for bookings.

Benjamin Philippe Zulauf (🇨🇭/ 🇬🇧 / 🇦🇺) UK based Swiss Producer and DJ creating House, Acid & Techno music influenced by cities like Chicago, New York and Detroit since 1997. He established his label 'Hummingbird by BPZ' in 2010.

The Geneva born multinational (Swiss, British and Australian) has been crafting and exploring electronic music made with machines since the late 90s. Working with a second hand MC-303 and a used Juno 106 synthesiser he worked on beats and pads that were heavily influenced by the classic old sounds emanating from Detroit, Chicago and New York as well as London and Berlin. 

Over the years his work has been steadily championed by many from the House and Techno scene, together with his imprint Hummingbird which has slowly been putting out his own music since 2010. This is evident in the regular support from the likes of Laurent Garnier, DJ Rolando, Vince Watson, Danny Tenaglia, Roy Davis Jr., DJ Sprinkles, DJ Bone, Ian Pooley, Fred P, nd_Baumecker, DVS1, Colin Dale, Gerd, Marcel Dettmann, Slam, Raresh, Marco Faraone, Tintonton Duvante, Passarani, Trevor Rockcliffe, Truncate, Terry Frances, Quarion, Brendon Moeller, Jimpster, Takaaki Itoh, Vincent Neumann, Alexi Delano, Tensal, De Sluwe Vos as well as radio features on NTS, KissFM, OpenLab Radio, RRFM and Pulse Radio.

As a DJ his music has taken him around the globe to perform at venues such as La Ruche, Club der Visionäre, Para, Weekend, Kantine, The Imaginarium, Chalet, Kiste, Sunday Breakfast Zurich, Griessmuehle, Brown Alley, Freedom Mills, Ministry of Sound New Delhi and for FUMP in Thailand. I have an extensive collection of oldskool vinyl mostly of the years 1988 - 1993 as I think these were the best for the rave culture,

Favorite dj back then and still now is and was Carl Cox, as he is the greatest in my opinion, was also part of the reason I got into the dance scene back then when my mate handed me my first ever rave tape at school, lol
