I've lowkey been wanting to cover this song ever since I started making music, but I could never think of a way to do it justice. The Chrono Trigger sample library allowed me some interesting arrangement opportunities and I'm happy that I finally got to make my own take on this classic song.

Happy New Year my dear friends! Many of you have requested that I cover the song Good Weather from the game Gimmick!, and as ye have asked, so shall ye receive! Much love to you all.

The main synths are all Native Instruments FM8, which is itself a nearly-perfect simulation of the venerable Yamaha DX7 from 1983. Even the "steel drums" are from the DX7!

Most of what I do revolves around the use of FM instrumentation, mainly the YM2612 sound chip used on the Sega Genesis; but I do make stuff outside of it sometimes. I use FM8 and Genny for most of what I do.
