Welcome to my page.

I appreciate all the comments, likes and repost that you leave me in my compositions.

I make music for fun and to get away. I have multiple styles, although my biggest influence is in electronic music.

I am self taught and learned with Music Studio 2 on a first generation ipad 11 years ago. I have never composed before. Perform more than 80 songs a year for the first 6-7 years to learn about the program and develop creativity to compose. I have listened to different types of music throughout my life and maybe that has helped me.

I still compose only with an ipad (last generation), but I no longer work only with native MS2 instruments since I have expanded my instrument library with programs such as Audiokit, Digital D1, kv331, Sunrizer, etc ...

My music can be downloaded, but not used for commercial purposes (my authorization is required).

Even as a small child I wanted to learn a musical instrument...

...since there was a music school in our small town where I grew up, but it was limited to the activities of the local musicians' band, the choice was rather limited... because piano, guitar or saxophone were not offered and that's why I decided me for the trumpet, which was not used for cast-technical reasons, so the FLÜGELHORN became my instrument...
In my youth I turned my back on music and was active in sports towards the end of my teenage years.

Isle of Skye, Scotland based recording artist. Typically to be found caught in - or in the spaces between - electro, post-rock, synthwave, progressive electronic/rock, IDM, and film & tv themes. In 2025 after many years of faffing about, I finally released a 4 track EP, Inner Life, which you can stream in full here and download from my Bandcamp page at gunaite.bandcamp.com

My project name is from the Scottish Gaelic "gun àite" (pronounced "goon atcha") which roughly translates as "without place", possible reflecting the slightly disembodied nature of my music ;)
