“A Treasurebox of Happiness” is a quiet yet unmistakably warm song, composed by BLUE TARO-P as he reflected on the time spent with his aging mother.
Rather than portraying dramatic events, it gently captures a series of irreplaceable moments scattered throughout everyday life. The motif of a "treasure box" represents the act of storing those precious memories safely within one's heart, so they’re never forgotten.

The arrangement, entrusted to the reliable JW Music Society, is performed entirely with live instruments. By excluding synthesizers and programmed sounds, and relying solely on the tones of live guitars and drums, the music embraces raw emotion as it is.
Avoiding excessive ornamentation, the soundscape leaves space for the unspoken—to quietly speak to the listener in its own way.

Vocals are performed by the AI singer Kevin. Though the lyrics are written in Japanese, an English translation is provided in the lyric video to help convey the sentiment to a wider audience. Kevin’s voice, expressive even with minimal adjustments, is a favorite of BLUE TARO-P for its emotional clarity.

For BLUE TARO-P, this piece marks an important milestone, both as a composer and as a person.
Overcoming the personal challenge of writing a major-key ballad—something he once found difficult—he now feels confident in saying, “This is my music.” And more than anything, he succeeded in transforming heartfelt emotions toward a loved one into a tangible musical form.

“A Treasurebox of Happiness” is not a song of mourning the past.
It is a song for cherishing the happiness found in the present moment, so that even when the time for farewell eventually comes, we can still smile.
It is a song for quietly storing precious memories of our loved ones deep within our hearts.

『幸せの宝箱』は、作曲者BLUE TARO-Pが、老いてゆく母との時間を見つめ直しながら紡いだ、静かで、けれど確かに温かい一曲です。
そこに描かれているのは、特別な出来事ではなく、日々の暮らしの中に散りばめられた“かけがえのない瞬間”の数々。そして、それを忘れないように、心の中にそっとしまっておくための“宝箱”というモチーフ。

アレンジは、信頼するJW Music Societyによる完全な生演奏編成。シンセサイザーや打ち込みを一切排除し、生ギターや生ドラムの響きだけで、ありのままの感情を包み込んでいます。
あえて過剰な装飾を避けたその音像は、言葉にできない想いの余白を、静かに語りかけてくれるようです。

歌唱はAIボーカル「Kevin」。日本語詞で紡がれた楽曲ですが、英訳を添えたことで、国内外のリスナーにもその想いが届くことを願っています。Kevinの声は、最小限の調整でも感情が乗る、BLUE TARO-Pお気に入りの歌声です。

BLUE TARO-Pにとって本作は、作家としても人間としても、ひとつの節目となるような大切な曲です。苦手だった長調のバラードという壁を乗り越え、自信を持って「これが自分の音楽だ」と言える作品ができたこと。そして、大切な人への想いを、音楽として形にできたこと。

『幸せの宝箱』は、過去を悼むための歌ではありません。
それは、今この瞬間にある幸せを見つめ直し、やがて訪れる別れのときにも、笑顔でいられるように。

(Ballad / The Crystallization of Youth and First Love)

“Uneasy” is the closing track of the album and holds a special place in BLUE TARO-P’s heart as the first full-fledged ballad ever composed. Lyrics, composition, and arrangement were all done solely by the artist. It’s a deeply personal piece, reflecting on the bittersweet memory of a first love lost.Guitar playing by is OZ.

Originally composed in A minor, it was later transposed to the more complex A♭ minor because the vocal range felt too high. Written during student days, the song represents an emotional and musical outpouring—truly a “crystallization of youth.”

The piece uses many seventh chords to deepen its emotion, and it was also the artist’s first serious attempt at composing long, irregular verse melodies. The process involved repeated trial and error, and the moment a true “ballad structure” emerged was unforgettable.

Around this time, BLUE TARO-P began to feel that melodies were not being "created" so much as "received."

“It was like I was just typing out melodies I heard from somewhere beyond.”
A music professional later told the artist, “That’s what we call ‘a melody descending from above,’” and that insight left a lasting impression.

This track also features the artist’s first modulations in a B-section, with the goal of creating “natural transitions.” Though still a beginner at the time, BLUE TARO-P experimented with techniques learned from theory books and advice from a respected mentor, including the suggestion:

“If IIm7-5 feels too dark in a minor key, try using IIM instead.”

From that experimentation, the artist also learned how to return to the original key after modulating down a half-step—proving the value of asking questions and taking bold steps.

The lyrics reflect a real-life heartbreak, and writing them brought the artist to tears. But through the completion of the song, that first love could finally be put to rest as a treasured memory.

“Uneasy” is a song where I truly faced myself through music—
and it holds profound meaning in my life.
