About Roman Shazse:
Roman arrived in Paris about ten years ago with a musical background he inherited from his parents. His music blends a touch of jazz/funk with modern elements and pays homage to several generations of electronic influences.

After a long period as a DJ and an event organizer, he founded his own label called Mimesis in 2019. His universe is a theatrical black & white world, which showcases rising artists and delivers deep, dance floor music that strives to be original.

Today, he offers his services as a sound engineer and works on his next releases and in his recording studio, a beautiful cavern where synthesizers and rhythm boxes co-exist in harmony.

After their amazing "Fail Better" release we welcome back the german hit makers for another single drop. "Burn Again" is a fantastic retro touched Indie Melodic wonder with a rolling bassline, unique vocals and a melody to dream to. Spheres and sounds that will remain in your head for a while, promise! On the flip we have a remix by Katermukke boss Dirty Doering who made the Original track more floor based, fitting better to peak time DJ sets. Label heads Adana Twins venture forth with TAU’s mission, cooking up a fresh new cut in their lab ready to bring their unique brand of electronic
music to the dance floors of the world. The boys keep it vibrant and funky with their new jam, entitled ‘Mirage’.

A gentle build up guides us into the main body of the track, with a bright swathe of layers establishing a buoyant feeling from the beginning.
The duo add additional layers to complement and amplify the main riff, cultivating an enchanting and immersive atmosphere. After an initial
breakdown, more layers are added, bringing a hint of eeriness to proceedings.

The second breakdown really exemplifies the duo’s ability to create spellbinding moments on the dance floor, with gentle piano keys and myriad emotive elements to really touch the hearts of those listening. A monumental build up explodes out into the final section of this uplifting cut, full of positivity. By the time ‘Mirage’ comes to an end you’re guaranteed to have a smile on your face.

VANAJAK is an electronic grooves sculptor and dancer.
His music blends house, hip-hop, funk, techno and Asian textures into emotional and percussive journeys.
Born from movement. Built to move others.

VANAJAK is an artist whose electronic music draws from house, disco, hip-hop, funk, techno, and soul. His energy flows from groove, pulse, and the heritage of Black music, shaping a sound that is physical, deep, and open — a bridge between cultures, emotions, and worlds.

For him, music is first and foremost a space for sharing, communion, trance, and sometimes even spirituality. That’s what draws him in, what he seeks to express. A way to reconnect with the body, with rhythm, with the self — and perhaps with something greater.
To dance is to release, to recenter, and sometimes to begin an inner journey.

He began dancing hip-hop in 1997, practicing b-boying and funk styles (popping and locking). In parallel, he also worked as a hip-hop DJ in the early 2000s — an experience that nourished in him a deeper purpose: to transform energy into movement, to bring people together regardless of their background, and to guide them into a moment of transcendence, unity, something almost sacred.

He took part in several choreographic works across Europe, including with Jean-François Duroure’s company (2000–2001), before creating Drip Hop! (2011–2012) — a piece inspired by dripping and action painting, where dancers become living brushes, painting through movement.
In 2014, he joined the Into New Territories residency at École des Sables in Senegal, exploring the intersections between African traditional dance and hip-hop movement.

This rich and multifaceted journey — with only a few highlights mentioned here — continues to shape his music-making today: one of movement, breath, and letting go.

Today, under the name VANAJAK, he explores a singular musical path.
As an electronic grooves sculptor, he shapes his sound like a rhythm carved by hand, by heart, and through listening.
The name is a fusion of “Vana”, his personal nickname, and “Anajak”, the Khmer word for “kingdom”. Together, they form the sonic kingdom of VANAJAK — an intimate realm where rhythm becomes memory, breath, and vibration.

His aim remains the same: to make people dance, to travel, and to escape.
To travel in order to discover others, but also to discover oneself.
With each track, he offers a breath of air in a world that too often spins out of control — a moment suspended, alive, and shared.
