We are still a great nation.  

That will never change.

But when did that ever STOP US?

Simply put, Count It Loss is...

The Crew: 
Illijam, Magoh, rey.OH. eight, & RunFree are independent artists; however, they band together under this rallying cry and grind as a team in hopes of painting a clearer picture of how good it is to know and serve Jesus.

The Message:
"Indeed, I count everything as loss because of the surpassing worth of knowing Christ Jesus my Lord. For his sake I have suffered the loss of all things and count them as rubbish, in order that I may gain Christ..." Philippians 3:8

The Movement:
It is our dream that God would catalyze a massive movement of men and women who fervently believe that knowing Jesus is the best part about being alive. It is our prayer that many, by God's grace, will experience Jesus as so utterly enjoyable, precious, beautiful, famous, & glorious that they renounce all else in order to live life with and serve Him.  We envision millions of people, enthralled by the glory of God, prizing Christ above all else such that they abandon sin & surrender their lives to God and the cause of His Great Gospel.

We give thanks and praises to God for blessing us with all the things He has given us. It is our prayer that our music would have a positive impact on the listeners and would lead lost souls to Christ.  This project “Back to the Basics (Old School-New Flavor)” is very special to the Crowns of Joy.  It is a celebration of 35 Years in the gospel singing ministry.

The “Crowns of Joy” was founded in a little Northeast Mississippi community call Pheba in 1980 by the late Reverend Tom Bill Avant.  Prior to becoming a preacher, Reverend Avant was a great musician who created three local gospel groups in the Pheba community.  The first group “The Five Gospel Wonders”, organized in the early 1950’s, included a group of neighborhood boys, who were well known for singing in community churches.  As time went by, members of the group departed to pursue their own personal goals.

Nevertheless, in the early 1970’s, Reverend Avant continued his singing career by organizing a group with a different name “The Gospel Consolators”.  Members included his wife, sister-in- law, and nephews. Being around music, Reverend Avant’s children learned how to sing and play, as well.  Tommy Avant became the backup bass player for “The Gospel Consolators”. However, members of the group had a massive responsibility of taking care of their families which caused the group to breakup.

Reverend Avant decided that in order to keep dedicated members in a group, he needed members who could take firm instructions and criticism.  Therefore, the prime candidates were two of his sons (Tommy and Victor), who were well known for being reprimanded when caught doing wrong with a belt, switch and other unsparing rods. In 1980, Reverend Avant formulated a group known as the “Crowns of Joy”.  Reverend Avant was very strict and taught good moral values that we will never forget “living the life we sing about”.

The group currently consists of three original members - two brothers (Tommy & Victor) and a cousin (Wayne) along with Bud Townsend who has been with the group for eight years. Tommy, Victor and Wayne formed the TVW Music Of God Publishing group during the production of the “Taking It To Another Level” Project.  The group has had the opportunity of keeping their father’s legacy alive by traveling and singing in various places and taking the group to higher heights.  We have been successful in previously recording four projects “Didn’t It Rain”, “Taking It To Another Level”, “Born Again”, and “An Evening With The Crowns (Live and More)”.   

We have been blessed to travel all over the world and sing with various, renown, national, recording artists.  The story continues and we look forward to sharing it with you! COMING SOON TO YOUR CITY!!

As a child growing up in China, I heard music in my head all the time. I danced to the melodies that passed through my tiny mind, turning in circles while humming these mysterious sounds. We were very poor at that time and we didn’t have music. The only music I ever heard was in my head and I dreamed of becoming a composer. Of course, music lessons were impossible.
 
When I was older, we moved to Macau. I went to a church and saw a piano for the first time. I loved listening to the piano in that church but my parents made me stop.  They already thought I was different because I was left-handed so they made me use my right hand. When they told me turn left, I went right. When they told me that I dropped something on the floor to my left, I said," Where?" They were starting not to trust me anymore. When I went to the church, they thought I was doing something bad there. I stopped going because I did not want them to worry.
 
We moved to Eugene, Oregon, when I was 17-years-old. I heard you could play the pianos in the University of Oregon’s music department for free. One day, I rode my bicycle there at 9 a.m. and started playing. It seemed like minutes had passed but I became thirsty and cold and shaky. When I went into the dark hallway, it was 11 p.m. Time means nothing when I am playing music.
 
Later, we moved in Salem and I found a music store that I loved. I would pretend that I wanted to buy something. I would touch their instruments, trying to play the music that I heard in my head. I had saved $1200 to go back to Macau to visit Kam Meng, my fiancé at that time. But one day, I bought a piano instead. That was sad for him, but I thought I was not good enough for him anymore. I loved this piano so much that I forgot I was living in an upstair apartment. Fortunately, the store was able to deliver it anyway. When my parents saw it, they were scared and unhappy. They didn't understand my music and they didn't want me to play.  I was afraid to play because I didn’t want my music to upset them. I was very sad all the time because I thought everything I did was wrong. I felt worthless. 
     
Even after Kam Meng and I moved to Newport and opened our own restaurant, I was afraid to try anything new. But that started to change when a local artist name Helen Kropp noticed that my daughter, Tinha, loved art.  She gave us watercolor paints and paper for Tinha to use. It looked interesting to me so, with Helen’s encouragement, I painted pictures of sunsets. My daughter’s name means sunset. I painted two pictures and put them in the window. A gallery owner came in and said that I could sell them. He was right. Within a week, both paintings sold. Art made me feel good. Many people encouraged me and bought my paintings, including fisherman who commissioned pictures of their boats.
 
Although music was my first love, I gave it up because no one was able to understand my music. I was making everyone unhappy when I tried to play. I thought everything I did was no good for the people around me. I became very nervous all the time. Every time we ate out, I spilled water. When I went shopping, I dropped money. I could not focus because I was worried that people thought there was something wrong with me and that I was no good.  Kam Meng tried to protect and comfort me. We moved from our little bay front restaurant to a new, bigger location and started having problems. Some people said the restaurant was failing because I wouldn’t listen to them. My daughter was clinically depressed. They blamed me for her depression because they said I spoiled her. I prayed that God would take my life and give my daughter happiness. But God knows what you really want.
 
I worked hard to try to make our business work. We couldn’t afford to hire many helpers so Kam Meng and I worked all the time and we were exhausted. One night my husband put the money from our business in a bag and carelessly set it in the unlocked car. Someone stole it. All of our work was for nothing. But that made me realize an important lesson. Why work so hard for money when it could be gone so easily? There was no point in stressing. Losing that money made me feel free.
 
Right after we lost the money, my husband moved my piano to the restaurant. Business was slow so I played at work when no one was around. I didn’t mind any more that business was slow because it gave me the opportunity to play. I started to pray through my music. I asked God to help me. One day, a man was outside our restaurant and he heard my music. He thought I was playing a famous artist's CD. He wanted me to turn on the CD again because he loved the music. He was surprised to learn that I was playing the piano live. He wanted me to play something for him. I told him I didn’t want to disturb the customers but he said, “The music I just heard is from heaven. You have to share it with us.” So I played a couple of original pieces for him. He was touched by my music and cried. I cried, too, because he was the first person in my life to tell me that my music was good. I started to share more of my music with my customers. More of them started to encourage me and now I perform in our restaurant, Kam Meng, to a full house every time I want to play. Of course, I learned not to overdo it.

I remember I went crazy at the beginning and played anytime people asked me to -- even when my restaurant was very busy! It was driving my mom crazy. She yelled at me when I performed because she was so worried that my playing would cause us to lose our business. I was mad at her because I couldn't understand why she was not happy for me. I even wrote a song about her at the time called, "Be happy for me." It is a very sad song. But now, I realize that she may be right because I have been receiving some bad comments about my music via e-mail and on-line reviews, such as Google, tripadvisor.com/, urbanspoon, and Yelp. There are people who really don't like me playing music while they eat in my restaurant!

But, I won't give up music because of them. My husband encouraged me and he said, "Huiya, you have to remember that your dream, your happiness and yourself are very big to you and me, but the restaurant is only a small part of us. Those people do not understand what we are doing. They are just as small as dust. We have a long journey ahead of us. Please don't let anything take away your big dream!"  And I asked him, "If we lose our restaurant because of my music, will you regret it?" He said, " No regrets. I am proud of you because you are doing something like this in your life. I am very proud to have you in my life." He made me cried.

Anyway, now I only playing music for the people who really wish me to play, because I don't have time to play for the people who don't care for it. 
 
I never took lessons. I can’t read or write music. I hear music in my head and that is what I play. I can play the same piece a hundred times but I can’t write it down so someone suggested that I record it so it isn’t lost. Customers started asking if they could buy my CDs. I felt embarrassed because my recordings don’t sound as good as what I hear in my head but people insisted. I used one of my paintings on the case and started selling them in our restaurant. To make myself feel better about selling it, I said to myself, "I am not selling my music, but I am just selling my painting and it comes with music." Wow, it scared me! I sold about 500 CDs in just two months for $ 17.95 each. I was so happy because  I had enough money to fix up my old piano. Even though I am still not allow to play music at home, I also bought another piano for my house. I am so lucky! I am blessed!

One day, I was playing a song and my father asked me if it was from China or the United States. I said, “Neither. I just made it up.” He couldn’t understand how I could play something over and over without having it on paper. He said he liked my song. That was the first compliment he ever gave me. I was so excited that my brain kept writing happy music. So I called this piece, "Your first compliment." 

One day, my mom asked me, "How many CDs have you sold today?" I said, "About ten." She asked, "How many songs do you have on your CD?" I said, "Fifteen and it is about an hour long." Then she said, "Really. How come I only hear you playing two notes over and over again -- ding, ding, ding?" 

I laughed, At that moment, I realized that some people really have a different way of hearing and seeing. They could not see me, hear me, or understand me the way I view myself. Not because they don't love me, but because they see the world differently, with varying ways of feeling, experiencing, and dreaming. 

Sometimes, I get mad at myself, too. I should not be unhappy just because people don't agree with, or understand, me. They are not me and it is not their job to accept me. Instead, I need to simply understand, love, and accept myself more. Even if I am different, I need to be myself. 

I am so glad that I found God. He found a way to teach me about life and make me understand that each one of us is unique and special just the way we are. Even though the whole world is changing everyday. I know we should never let ourselves, or anyone else, change who we truly are. 

I also  realized that everything happens for a reason. I am not worried anymore because God has already planned everything  for us. That's why we are all here today. That's why we all have amazing experiences and great life stories to share. It is a miracle that I can share my life experiences though my music today.
 
Anyway, my daughter got the help that she needs and is happy now. Through all of this, I learned that life is not about being wrong or right. It is about learning from our everyday experiences and figuring out how to nurture the dreams that God planted inside of us. My dream is to study music when my son is grown. He is young so I have a long time to wait. But I don’t care. I have found this bit of happiness and I could die tomorrow and feel fulfilled.

The story about my album " With Loving Gratitude"
Music comes to me when I am sad. But ironically, this makes me happy because my sadness is translated into the prettiest music. When the music on this CD came to me, I felt tremendous gratitude. As I sat at the piano letting this music flow through me, I felt thankful for everything that I already have in life.  I saw the image of me standing in the center of the world and looking up at the beautiful, vivid clouds racing through the sky and the world was turning and I was turning with it and praising God. I could see tears in my eyes and I fully experienced how blessed I really am. 

I once read, "God will never leave you empty, He will replace everything you lost. If he asks you to put something down, he wants you to pick up something greater." So I am just enjoying every minute I  have and trusting God's plan for me.

This lovely piece of music is called "With Loving Gratitude."  Playing music keeps me moving forward and enjoying everyday. I feel like I am on top of world now, even though we live modestly. The image of me praising God inspired the title of another song on this CD. It is call "On Top of the World." Sometimes I have to pinch myself see if this is real. People all over the world are listening to my music and it is even on the radio now.

Recently, God's plan for me was to focus all my energy on creating and recording this CD myself, even though it meant I didn't sleep until it was finished. If you find your true self and do what you love, you will never feel tired, but rather energized every day. Time moves very quickly. Every minute is important so don’t let them get away. One hundred years can be gone in an instant.

God's Plan
The inspiration for this piece came when I imagined myself walking with God and telling Him how grateful I am for the life He has given me. He has a plan for me, just as He has a plan for all people. Everything that happens in life has a purpose. For this, I pray and give Him thanks everyday.

The Time has Come
This piece came to me when I realized that the time has come to recognize who we truly are and to live life authentically. I am thankful everyday because I found out who I am truly am -- a special child of God, just as we are all special in God's eyes. This knowledge allows me to let go of anger an resentment and experience overwhelming joy -- the kind of joy that brings tears to my eyes. we are all traveling our own paths and I feel fortunate that, even though we may not always understand each other, we can still love and support each other. God created each of us with our own unique talents and gifts to share with the world. You cannot buy happiness so there is no reason to worry about chasing money. Happiness is within us all. We just need to let it flow.

Make it to the sunrise
All of us will experience good times and bad. That is just part of the human experience -- part of our beautiful life stories. I had been in the dark for a long time. I couldn't see a thing and got totally lost. I never thought I would make it through that dark place but I did find the light. I not only made it to the sunrise, I actually became one of the lights. Never give up. The sunrise will always come.

Nothings matters anymore
After a long period of darkness, a time came when I started to notice how special I am -- not perfect, but special. In that moment, I realized that we are all special in our own, unique ways. I felt lucky everyday -- lucky to see everything and everyone in my life, especially my parents and the people at whom I used to be angry. Just looking at them brings tears to my eyes because I get to love them every day, just the way they are. My heart said "Nothing matters anymore. I am so lucky you are still here with me." And this song came. 

No regrets
Life is too good for me already, even though I still work many hours in a day and only sleep a few hours each night. Still, I find plenty of time to spend with our children and the people I love. Even with work, I find the time to do what I love, hear my music and play it for myself and others. I have done better than I expected. I did the best I could and have no regrets. I am truly blessed.

Graceful rain
Rainy days used to make me sad. However, once I found myself, my soul, my music and my happiness, the rain became graceful. Now rain reminds me just how beautiful life can be. If you can't find your graceful rain, try to switch your own channel. The ability to see the beauty in everything is just waiting for you to discover it. 

Imagining, I became a dancing water
One day, as I watched the beautiful raindrops, it appeared to me that they were dancing. In that moment, I imaged myself becoming a raindrop, too. I thought,  "Hey, no one is watching. I can dance, too."  It makes me happy to be one with the rain. And this song came to me. 

My first grateful fall (Grateful for the fall)
In the past, when the fall came and the trees turned yellow and brown, I always felt sad. All I saw were falling leaves and it made me feel like I was failing again and again. But in 2011, I felt grateful for the fall for the first time. Colorful leaves were flying through the air. I imagined myself dancing with the beautiful falling leaves and this music came to me. Now, I experience tears of joy everyday and am truly blessed! My heart's only wish is for everyone in the world to find what I have found in life -- joy and gratitude everyday.

We can all learn to turn on our own lights. When we are happy and grateful and smiling everyday, we light up the lives of other people, too. Our blessings can change the world because others feel love and light and warmth coming through us. We don't ever have to go to that dark place again because love and light are magnified a trillion fold -- continuously encircling us and everyone we meet. To experience tears of joy every day, we must be grateful for everything God has created is our lives. Yes, everything. Smile everyday and know that we are blessed.

John 3:3-7

3 Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.

4 Nicodemus saith unto him, How can a man be born when he is old? can he enter the second time into his mother's womb, and be born?

5 Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.

6 That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.

7 Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again.


Christ's discourse with Nicodemus.

Nicodemus was afraid, or ashamed to be seen with Christ, therefore came in the night. When religion is out of fashion, there are many Nicodemites. But though he came by night, Jesus bid him welcome, and hereby taught us to encourage good beginnings, although weak. And though now he came by night, yet afterward he owned Christ publicly. He did not talk with Christ about state affairs, though he was a ruler, but about the concerns of his own soul and its salvation, and went at once to them.

Our Saviour spoke of the necessity and nature of regeneration or the new birth, and at once directed Nicodemus to the source of holiness of the heart. Birth is the beginning of life; to be born again, is to begin to live anew, as those who have lived much amiss, or to little purpose. We must have a new nature, new principles, new affections, new aims. By our first birth we were corrupt, shapen in sin; therefore we must be made new creatures. No stronger expression could have been chosen to signify a great and most remarkable change of state and character.

We must be entirely different from what we were before, as that which begins to be at any time, is not, and cannot be the same with that which was before. This new birth is from heaven, ch. 1:13, and its tendency is to heaven. It is a great change made in the heart of a sinner, by the power of the Holy Spirit. It means that something is done in us, and for us, which we cannot do for ourselves.

Something is wrong, whereby such a life begins as shall last for ever. We cannot otherwise expect any benefit by Christ; it is necessary to our happiness here and hereafter. What Christ speak, Nicodemus misunderstood, as if there had been no other way of regenerating and new-moulding an immortal soul, than by new-framing the body. But he acknowledged his ignorance, which shows a desire to be better informed. It is then further explained by the Lord Jesus. He shows the Author of this
blessed change.

It is not wrought by any wisdom or power of our own, but by the power of the blessed Spirit. We are shapen in iniquity, which makes it necessary that our nature be changed. We are not to marvel at this; for, when we consider the holiness of God, the depravity of our nature, and the happiness set before us, we shall not think it strange that so much stress is laid upon this. The regenerating work of the Holy Spirit is compared to water. It is also probable that Christ had reference to the ordinance of baptism.

Not that all those, and those only, that are baptized, are saved; but without that new birth which is wrought by the Spirit, and signified by baptism, none shall be subjects of the kingdom of heaven. The same word signifies both the wind and the Spirit. The wind bloweth where it listeth for us; God directs it. The Spirit sends his influences where, and when, on whom, and in what measure and degree, he pleases. Though the causes are hidden, the effects are
plain, when the soul is brought to mourn for sin, and to breathe after Christ.

Christ's stating of the doctrine and the necessity of regeneration, it should seem, made it not clearer to Nicodemus. Thus the things of the Spirit of God are foolishness to the natural man. Many think that cannot be proved, which they cannot believe. Christ's discourse of gospel truths, ver. #(11 to 13), shows the folly of those who make these things strange unto them; and it recommends us to search them out. Jesus Christ is every way able to reveal the will of God to us; for he came down from heaven, and yet is in heaven. We have here a notice of Christ's two distinct natures in one person, so that while he is the Son of man, yet he is in heaven. God is the HE THAT IS, and heaven is the dwelling-place of his holiness. The knowledge of this must be from above, and can be received by faith alone. Jesus Christ came to save us by healing us, as the children of
Israel, stung with fiery serpents, were cured and lived by looking up to the brazen serpent, Nu 21:6 to 9. In this observe the deadly and destructive nature of sin. Ask awakened consciences, ask damned sinners, they will tell you, that how charming soever the allurements of sin may be, at the last it bites like a serpent. See the powerful remedy against this fatal malady. Christ is plainly set forth to us in the gospel.

He whom we offended is our Peace, and the way of applying for a cure is by believing. If any so far slight either their disease by sin, or the method of cure by Christ, as not to receive Christ upon his own terms, their ruin is upon their own heads. He has said, Look and be saved, look and live; lift up the eyes of your faith to Christ crucified. And until we have grace to do this, we shall not be cured, but still are wounded with the stings of Satan, and in a dying state. Jesus Christ came to save us by pardoning us, that we might not die by the sentence of the law. Here is gospel, good news indeed. Here is God's love in giving his Son for the world. God so loved the world; so really, so richly. Behold and wonder, that the great God should love such a worthless world! Here, also, is the great gospel duty, to believe in Jesus Christ. God having given him to be our Prophet, Priest, and King, we must give up ourselves to be ruled, and taught, and saved by him. And here is the great gospel benefit, that whoever believes in Christ, shall not perish, but shall have everlasting life.

God was in Christ reconciling the world to himself, and so saving it. It could not be saved, but through him; there is no salvation in any other. From all this is shown the happiness of true believers; he that believeth in Christ is not condemned. Though he has been a great sinner, yet he is not dealt with according to what his sins deserve. How great is the sin of unbelievers! God sent One to save us, that was dearest to himself; and shall he not be dearest to us? How great is the misery of unbelievers! they are condemned already; which speaks a certain condemnation; a present condemnation. The wrath of God now fastens upon them; and their own hearts condemn them. There is also a condemnation grounded on their former guilt; they are open to the law for all their sins; because they are not by faith interested in the gospel pardon. Unbelief is a sin against the remedy. It springs from the enmity of the heart of man to God, from love of sin in some form. Read also the doom of those that would not know Christ. Sinful works are works of darkness. The wicked world keep as far from this light as they can, lest their deeds should be reproved. Christ is hated, because sin is loved. If they had not hated saving knowledge, they would not sit down contentedly in condemning ignorance. On the other hand, renewed hearts bid this light welcome. A good man acts truly and sincerely in all he does. He desires to know what the will of God is, and to do it, though against his own worldly interest. A change in his whole character and conduct has taken place.

The love of God is shed abroad in his heart by the Holy Ghost, and is become the commanding principle of his actions. So long as he continues under a load of unforgiven guilt, there can be little else than slavish fear of God; but when his doubts are done away, when he sees the righteous ground whereon this forgiveness is built, he rests on it as his own,
and is united to God by unfeigned love. Our works are good when the will of God is the rule of them, and the glory of God the end of them; when they are done in his strength, and for his sake; to him, and not to men. Regeneration, or the new birth, is a subject to which the world is very averse; it is, however, the grand concern, in comparison with which every thing else is but trifling. What does it signify though we have food to eat in plenty, and variety of raiment to put on, if we are not born again? if after a few mornings and evenings spent in unthinking mirth, carnal pleasure, and riot, we die in our sins, and lie down in sorrow?

What does it signify though we are well able to act our parts in life, in every other respect, if at last we hear from the Supreme Judge, Depart from me, I know you not, ye workers of iniquity?

Hello, how are you? My name is Antoine. I felt compelled to not be so interested in the concept of becoming a part of your life and not the application of allowing you get to know me more intimately. I hope all is well with you and that this receives you well.... I sincerely want to share "Me!" with you now; ... Love is not Love ...until it's given away! I'm 5'10, 180lbs... As for me, I have a flair for the unusual and the creative and I am drawn to those who shun the conventional. I shy away from those who tend to be TOO BOSSY, INCONSIDERATE, & DON'T RECEIVE CONSTRUCTIVE CRITICISM! It usually manifests as a rather quick wit. My imagination is so powerful that it is requisite that I have a strong creative or spiritual outlet. I believe that I have a unique view of life and have to find friends and partners with whom I can share it. I think I am right but I could be wrong; my relationships will be most successful when I also have in my life an interest, goal or project which absorbs both my partner & I equally.
    I have a mind that never quits. I need constant stimulation and am fond of talking, reading, writing and other forms of communication. This nervous energy of mine often translates into bodily tension that needs a physical outlet. I'm also fond of exercise, dancing, or any other activity that keeps me moving about. I am a performer & entertainer, or closely connected with show business, & stage; I'm impressed by cleverness and always appreciate a good joke. I think I’m right but I could be wrong, however, a most important key in "Life" is to wisely, however sincerely give of the gifts that are given to you & have equanimity to display discipline by loyalty to honesty. Objective reality is the final truth. So it is very important to know that how I observe people or situations is the primary ingredient in choosing a direction. I am learning how to accept people at face value who are different, think different, & act differently from me and realize that this way my life will be more fun and more stable. I see all sides of every question and then invent a few more to explore. I am logical, inquisitive, and mentally alert. In me developing depth and persistence, then I'll have the best of both worlds. I am also a daring spirit that has a love of adventure. I usually try to be very physically fit and enjoy staying in shape. I am optimistic, inquisitive and embrace change. I am an individual who expresses their love of independence often through an unusual life style. I am also accepting of new people and new ideas. The last thing that could ever be said of me is that I'm closed minded. I will try almost anything once..... Love is not Love until it's given away! Romantically others may find me hard to get close to as I would rather sit and chat first then, possibly, get intimate. Others fail to understand that the most valued expression of my love is the expression of my hopes and dreams to another. Because I've come to learn that being loyal to honesty builds confidence! With all of that said, "The risk of insult is the Price of Clarity". The less compatible people are in their relationships, the more they have to compromise. And compromising decreases the level of desire.
    I am about the right to follow where my heart and gut-instincts lead me in life. I am a great lover of human nature as well as one of its greatest observers. I also have a spiritual bend to my personality. One of my challenges is learning how to not spread myself too thin! In the past, I have been quite casual about some of my relationships and have had some challenging trouble managing any type of ill-logical emotional crisis. I've even experienced panic at the idea of commitment, to certain individuals, as I don't like the idea of being responsible to...( not for but to )...another person that is not mature, considerate, & loyal to honesty. The truth does not change; only people do! Thank you for indulging me thus far...

      Understanding My Psychology

    I think I'm right but, I could be wrong;  I've come to learn, understand and now accepting that Relationships are complicated by nature. There is no single aspect that accurately describes this complex matrix. Also in a relationship an important concept to recognize is that the emotional, irrational partner knows that he or she is being irrational and unfair. To spend endless hours in discussion or argument is futile. That only gives the irrational partner an outlet for personal frustration. As long as that partner can engage you in discussion of the irrationality then he or she has an emotional outlet. False guilt is projected onto you by the irrational partner. Thus, that partner avoids facing responsibility for their actions. A person sets up prosperity & earns happiness from within. Happiness cannot be taken from the material world or from another person. Happiness of a man & woman is not based on sex or pleasure, but on self-esteem. Self-esteem is a person's estimation of their self-worth. Self-esteem is based on the ability to live independently, happily, competently. Self-esteem is also dependent on one's effectiveness in dealing with reality. Fear of being hurt or rejected prevents the development of real romantic-love relationships. That fear keeps a person defensive which, in turn, prevents emotional openness with their partner. And believe it or not, that openness is necessary for developing romantic love & pleasures. The achievement of romantic love involves a willingness to take risks. A person, however, is always hurt by faking or concealing emotions from one's self or loved one. Denial of feelings traps a person into emotionally repressive situations that diminish the potential for love & happiness. Being emotionally honest & open is the safest, happiest way to live....being emotionally open, however, does not mean gratuitously projecting emotions onto others or blaming one's emotional problems on others. Blaming others for your personal or emotional problems is an irrational, unfair, and mystical act that keeps a person from solving their own problems. Being loyal to honesty builds confidence! With all of that said, "The risk of insult is the Price of Clarity ".
    Whenever love dies, reasons always exist. But the reasons are not always obvious. A person can better prepare for a future relationship by identifying the reasons for failure through high-effort, and honest introspection. The less compatible people are in their relationships, the more they have to compromise. And compromising decreases the level of desire. Life is not an event, it's a process. And when certain events that happen effect the process we each experience, its then we learn to make adjustments. Life is simple & Compassion follows ...so far, it is what it is. But the Future is open to suggestions, input, & application. Each and every individual has a positive side ( + ) & negative side ( - ); a past & a future... And so we must accept both in the individual that we choose to love. I realize that because of me not completely knowing myself, I'd burn out 10-15 yrs of my relationships for down the line the future by trying to force romance in a few years! And people don't need the discipline of micro-managing love to grow up into the concept of an understanding, compromising relationship! Growing up is just apart of this life! It happens on its own. In trying to develop a healthy psyche, it takes more time than most people have to invest! And so, I understand now; that it's not when a person get it, but it's that they get it. Because a man's reach exceeds his grasp and then a man's grasp exceeds his nerve! Obsession is a young game! We must give respect in order to be received & earn trust in order to be believed. An excuse is the meat of a lie with the skin of ones reason on or around it... that's why so many people ruin an apology with an excuse & a stiff apology is a second insult! Why let the minor things in life become priority and let the Major things in life become options? And if a person can't surpass their emotions, then they can't surpass their limitations! I now understand that I was purposed to give my heart to seek & search out, by wisdom, those things that are related between heaven & earth. This heavy task has been given to me to be occupied with or better yet, afflicted with! And in giving my heart to know wisdom and ignorance; I have learned for in much wisdom is much grief and he that increases knowledge, increases sorrow. I hope all of what I'm sharing with you, receives you well; ... But again as for me, what a cocksure, self-satisfied person might perceive about me as an immature need for stimulation .... A more curious soul might see as refreshing openness, a sense of life's brevity & preciousness, an impressive commitment to making every minute live & breathe! And I now know the importance of, " Temet Nosce " ... thine own self must thy know! Simply because ...

          Life's Love Understanding

     The one who loves you, loves you just the way you are. Because if someone wants to change you, it means you are not what that person wants. Love is, loving someone for being themselves (v.s) loving someone because the other person makes your life easier. Real Love is not being afraid and getting teased for having needs; that's fEaR! Each person's reality is different. Understand, it's easy to love something or someone that doesn't have verbal opinions about you. Because "Love is a Choice." But first you will need to take a step back... You have to accept yourself and love yourself just the way you are, because if one of you has a bad moment or an emotional crisis, your agreement is to love the other individual for no reason, with no justification. Love is, the not putting an innate needy individual in a helpless situation, but the giving freely of one's self. Communication through respect & love is the whole key to keeping the love alive and never getting bored in your relationship. Consideration in Moderation. Choosing to stay focused & be positive. We as people are pre-domesticated by fear or greed to work jobs that we hate, to buy things & stuff that we don't need... When we are children, we are taught that everyone's opinions are important and we rule our lives according to those opinions. We feel the need to hear the opinions of others because we are domesticated, indoctrinated and manipulated by those opinions. That is why we seek recognition from other people.... But it’s very important to develop your own opinion of Life! "Temet Nosce" thine own self thou must know. Because a person changed against their will is of their own opinion still!
  
          There is nothing good or bad; only thinking makes it so.........
.    .........since being predictable is not part of anyone’s long-term nature......
        And because insecurities & guilt of consequences are the primary factor of undisciplined anger and negativity; that simply uncivilized emotional impulses represent immature, unhelpful & majorly destructive forms of mysticism.

                MYSTICISM

Mysticism is defined as: 1. Any mental or physical attempt to recreate, evade, or alter reality through dishonesty, rationalizations, emotions, deceptions, or force. 2. Any attempt to use the mind to create reality rather than to identify and intergrate reality. Mysticism is a disease -- it's a huge mistake to theorize before data is collected because one begins to twist facts to suit theories, instead of allowing theories to suit facts; Mysticism is a disease that blocks intergrated thinking and brings stupidities through mind-created realities. The ultimate goal of mysticism is to develop the follower's own consciousness and intellectual knowledge through the means of difficulties & deception, through ploys and strategies devised. To break with the belief of mysticism in our life is an emotional struggle! Mysticism is perpetuated by cheaters who must undermine honesty in order to usurp their livings & pseudo self-esteem through value destruction. Such people must disregard or undermine the "burden of proof " concept. For that concept is the protector of honesty. The "burden of proof " concept requires that whoever makes an assertion has the burden to supply objective proof before credibility is granted to that assertion. People who promote mysticism either ignore the "burden of proof " concept or subvert the concept by passing off non-sequiturs or specious rationalizations as "proof ". In any case, mysticism by nature is the opposite of honesty, rationality, objectivity, reality. There is no moral standard anymore! ...evading reality in favor of feelings; a person may trick his mind into thinking that selfless behavior is moral, but he cannot fool the biological and irrational foundation of his inner self and his true essence as a human being.
     We as humans are not good or bad or right or wrong; we are just the way we are. We have the need to justify everything - when it is just the way it is, period. Humans accumulate a lot of knowledge; we learn all those indoctrinated beliefs, morals, and rules from our family, societies codes of conduct & man's religion. And we base most of our behavior, most of feelings, on that behavior.... Our individual unique lives are patterns of functions, conditioned by basic set principles, trapped in forces of nature as to how our cosmic being fit by numerical design in this universe. Believing so many indoctrinated ideas, that it creates wounds infected with emotional poison. The mind plays this game, but the body doesn't care what the mind believes; the body just feels the sexual need. And the body is going to feel sexual when it's excited, when it's touched, when it's visually stimulated, when it sees the possibility of sex. The body can feel sexual & a few min. later, stop feeling sexual. If the stimulation ends, the body stops feeling the need for sex, but the mind is another story. The mind knows, and that's the problem!:-( ..and now the drama and conflict begin! "The Fear" becomes the obsession! And that AUTOMATICALLY makes it to be that the experience only becomes GREAT! Only after all the tension is released!

    A most important key in " Life " is to wisely, however sincerely give of the gifts that are given to you & have equanimity to display discipline by loyalty to honesty. Objective reality is the final truth.
    Whichever is the right answer; these are just my views on the subject of " Life! " without claiming any theological specialty and not saying that I am correct, these are just thoughts for ponder......this is to know me; Antoine: mentally, intimately, emotionally, spiritually... this is honesty from the depths of my soul, myself. It is what it is & I am who I am.

I'm Doing Just Fine Today, and I'm Right Where I'm Supposed to Be,,,))) 

Like Nike and MJ built over the years, I "Just Do It", and when I do, I "Do it Right"....))) Im very  Blessed, Happy, Adventureous, Honest, Empathetic, Caring, Comedial, Sensual, and without doubt, a True "Moma'z Boy"..... 

Im trying (Trying, nice key word) to figure  out my next move, and/ or business adventure, and as well, which coast, or city that lies on the oceans chest will I move to next.... I am pretty darn adventurous in life with a good built in character that knows how to treat people right. I give that to my mother, father, grandmother and a number of other prominent Mentors along the way; some I know, and others I've never met, but they played s prominent role in my upbringing and my principals and practices today; My Uncle Jim, for his mentor-ship with me growing up with his principals, morals, beliefs, and his business practices.  MJ, and that is Michael Jordan (hence the "Just do It'.  Michael Jackson, for his  Stage and Dance presence. I watched him from the time I was young and have even won a few dance contests in the last year or so (Thank You Michael) (Note: today, Chris Brown, and Myself are the only ones that come close to him, and I say "Close" but there is a "Great" distance between Him, and the rest of us)..... Arnold Schwarzenegger, for his work ethics in Body Building and for taking those learned skills into many other faucets and successes in his life....Go Arnold...!!!!!! Anthony Robbins, Zig Ziglar; and many more prominent people along the way during my travels and journeys in life. Hey, we can get our education, messages, knowledge, growth and development anywhere in life, from a man/woman on the bus, to a child or baby, from out parents, from an enemy, and most importantly, we can get them from God Himself......

I left the mortgage industry and have gone back to my Fitness / Nutrition,  and Massage Business (Body Dimensions Fitness / Massage). I've had fun starting and growing in a few different career opportunities over the years, and have found pretty good success in each endeavor so far. 

I believe that "Where the Water Meets the Sand," is our Heaven on Earth. I love the sunshine and warm weather and love to travel to those places on earth. Enough of the Northwest weather for me. Hello Scottsdale!!!!!! Now have LA and San Diego as the front yard, Scottsdale is the eye of the storm and Las Vegas is the back yard I can play in.

Looking forward to meeting some great peepz and sharing some life experiences along the way.I enjoy activities  like fine dining, movies, workouts, dancing, laughter, intimacy, excitement, and anything else we create as new friends in life.
