For the 30th anniversary release we are happy to introduce a debut "Sand / Awake" EP from LA-based producer and singer-songwriter duo Elliot Vast. The release opens with "Sand," a magical chill house track that feels like a fairytale brought to life through sound. I had the pleasure of providing the soundscape for my dear friend Nick Gubbels's breathwork session. This was a very unique experience, brought to life through Nick's vision of the world of DJing and the world of breathwork meeting, providing participants with a carefully curated sonic journey to go along with their guided breathwork. It was a privilege to be a part of Nick's vision and I can't wait to see where he takes it.

Big shout out to Azriel/Half Moon Temple in Richmond for providing us the space to facilitate these sessions. It's a wonderful space that's as inviting and calming, as it is energetic and lively.

Today I wrap up 2024 with one of my favorite new producers, well new to me anyway, Lost Astronaut. 
As with the others we talk about his history as a producer, his influences, why break beats remain his go-to form of expression and what it has been like to have some of the biggest names in the industry play his tracks on a global stage.  We discuss the success of his album, Was it all a dream, released on Morphosis earlier this year and how he has come to find community and support on Twitch. Lost_astronaut_music
