I have been gigging for 20 years with many b bands and alone. Now I am getting on i have started writing and recording my own material. I record everything myself on an old 8 track desk in my bedroom by the sea in Bognor Regis in West Sussex.

ANIMAMORTUA is a Maltese metal band influenced by various styles such as thrash metal, power metal and speed metal. Formed in June 2015 by ex-Relicuia members Juan Xerri (vocals), Clayton Cini (guitars, also Thy Legion drummer) & Josef Bray (drums), they rounded out their first line-up with Steve Azzopardi on bass and began to write material and quickly found their own style where they incorporated melody in the guitars and topped it off with powerful melodic vocals.
Between October and November of the same year they recorded their 3 track EP at XIR Mobile Recording Studio by the capable hands of Clayton Cini.
By the end of 2015, the band assumed a stable line-up, which saw the addition of guitarist Emanuel Portelli from Victims of Creation.
The band are looking forward to present their material live so keep your eyes peeled and your ears open because this dynamic quintet has big ambitions!
