I hate being a sensitive, good-hearted person. I hate how much it makes me fucking weak and helpless and everyday I can’t do anything but just weep for hours. 
I hate that it makes me even more insecure and just generally an incompetent, good for nothing individual in anything I do or take part of.
I hate my own sensitivity. It's become a dirty wall of noise I will never surpass. I hate how it makes me sick and incapable of living. It swallows me in a spiral of just a never ending flow of bad thoughts. 
I wish I was stronger, I wish I was less sensitive, I wish I didn’t have to write these fucking lines that no one really even cares about. But I had to, because I made the song out of all these thoughts and feelings I had. I’m not sure anybody will even believe in all of this because that’s just how it is.

The thing about non repeating octaves is if you go too far above or below the fundamental its goes "out". Working with this was interesting because synths can be octave shifted easily and you find yourself making creative decisions on timbre that you wouldn't normally think about.
