After several top notch tunes on the Subculture label, from the intricate ‘Curveball’ to the mighty ‘Cala Basa’ and ‘Never Forgotten’, Chris Metcalfe makes a fine debut on the Future Sound of Egypt label. ‘Watching Over Me’ has that rumbling bass that makes it impossible not to move, the melodic flow that gives it an uplifting spirit and the dreamy, warm break to get those hands in the air.
