I composed this work based on the WWI poem "In Flanders Fields."  It was composed for the St. Michael's Episcopal Church choir tour of France in 2015.  It was premiered at the Norman American Cemetery at Omaha Beach, Normandy, France.

This is my 8-part choral setting of the Nunc Dimittis (Lord, now let your servant depart in peace), in the high-lonesome style of Appalachian singing.  This is a canticle heard traditionally for Evening services.  It was composed for the St. Michael's Choir in NYC, and in memory of my father.  Copyright, 2017.
