My tribute to Jason Jeong.

He gave all of the people he knew more love and compassion than any of us deserved.

Personally, I think we were really hesitant on giving love and compassion back to him.

And its in times like this where I need him here more than ever.

I always thought I knew what it meant to long for something once it went missing in my life.

It was always materialistic stuff.

Not using my phone for a couple hours, shutting off the internet, trying to abstain from music.

But nothing compares to losing a friend.

Sitting in front of you at the hospital I felt so helpless.

So many people were crying or sulking and for the first time in my life I felt helpless.

Seeing people who knew you for almost half their lives not cry and stand tall through this whole ordeal made me feel guilty for shedding tears.

This is why I turned to music.

I believe that music is a language.

It's a medium for which people can speak and convey a message or feeling.

This is my message.

Rest in Peace Jason, hope to see you again.
