Johan Gielen is universally recognised as a pioneer and legend of the global trance scene. The word “legend” is at times thrown around too freely these days, but in the world of dance music the Johan Gielen name is engrained deep into the DNA of the trance genre – he’s a founding father of the sound as a producer and DJ, an inspiration to fans and peers alike, and remains a highly energised and influential driving force in the scene today.

When the global trance movement was arguably at the peak of its powers in the 2000’s Johan Gielen ranked as high as #24 in the prestigious DJ Mag Top 100 DJs poll and, to this day, is the only DJ to have performed 15 consecutive times at Trance Energy, the most celebrated of all trance festivals during this era, gaining him the nickname of “Mr Trance Energy”. There’s barely a big stage that hasn’t been graced by Johan’s presence and standout performances over the years – Tomorrowland, Sensation, Dance Valley, Godskitchen, Electronic Family, Mysteryland, Sunrise are just a handful of highlights.

As a producer, Johan Gielen has been creating both club classics and crossover anthems since the dawn of trance music. As a solo artist. the pinnacle was surely his massive ‘Revelations’ album, but he’s also the key member of famed collaboration projects such as Svenson & Gielen (hit singles including ‘The Beauty Of Silence’ / ‘Twisted’) and Airscape (‘Pacific Melody’ / ‘L’Esperanza’). The studio inspiration and output remains as strong as ever today, with late 2016 releases including a remix package of ‘Flash’ and a new Airscape single ‘Right Here’ featuring Betsie Larkin on vocals.

During the 25 year career of Johan Gielen countless artists have risen and fallen, yet very few have stayed the course . The secret to Johan Gielen’s enduring success is his commitment and consistency within the scene he loves. He was adorned with the nickname “Mr Trance Energy” by his fans and he’s stayed true to the genre he loves – the Johan Gielen name is synonymous with trance and he’s mighty proud of it!

There’s no better artist to deliver a Trance Classics set than Johan Gielen and he’s delighted to deliver the sounds that the fans demand – the Johan Gielen Trance Classics concept is booming in clubland and festival stages are planned for 2017. Johan also delivers Volume 3 of his popular Trance Classics compilation series on the High Contrast label this October. Moving into 2017 there will be further new productions with the Johan Gielen name being used to deliver the classic trance sounds, while his Airscape alter ego will be cutting a new edge to the trance scene that Johan has been shaping for over two decades now.

It all began on a serendipitous summer evening in 2003. A beach party, and a set list that placed DJ’s ROOG and Erick E next to each other led to an impromptu back-to-back set of party house jams. With fun-loving Erick E and stoic music lover Roog each pushing the other hard to bring bigger and better tunes out of the bag, the crowd went wild. 

In the haze of post-party euphoria, elated by their amazing chemistry, Housequake was born.

One of the most dedicated, hard-working figures in the industry, Grammy-nominated DJ, producer and label head, EDX, has spent almost three decades at the forefront of electronic music. Founding the internationally renowned record company Sirup Music in 2002, his imprints have chartered hits by iconic acts including Avicii, Armin van Buuren, Steve Angello, Tiësto and more. Establishing a joint-venture with Enormous Tunes, his Helvetic Nerds crew (including Nora En Pure, Daniel Portman, Croatia Squad and Sons of Maria) have seen global domination with their distinct sound. Aside from playing a crucial role in nurturing many successful artist careers over the years, his own vast catalogue of chart-topping original productions and remixes have amassed one billion streams on Spotify alone, and attracted an adoring international fan-base in the process.
 
His revered NoXcuses radio show on iHeart (formerly on SiriusXM’s Electric Area) is broadcast to over 40 countries twice a week, and hosts events around the planet under the same name, including during Miami Music Week and an annual New York yacht party. His international touring schedule often sees him traversing multiple countries and continents each week, holding residencies at some of the world’s most iconic clubs (Space Ibiza, Privilege Ibiza and Wynn Las Vegas to name a few) while consistently performing at the most esteemed festivals on the global circuit. 
 
The forced hiatus in international touring during much of 2020 and 2021 allowed EDX to channel his creativity and energy into other parts of his business. He spent considerable time with his label and management teams in Zürich to navigate the turbulent period and ensure a smooth and quick transition out of lockdown. 
 
Back in full force, 2022 was one of his most prolific years to-date, boasting an array of releases on prestigious imprints, including Don’t Be Afraid with Allie Crystal and sampling Dennis Parker’s iconic Like An Eagle in Holy Wood with Frey. Continuing this momentum in 2023, EDX released Renascence, and reunited with Frey to revisit an all-time dance classic The Rhythm Of The Night, receiving special permission from the original’s creator Roberto Zanetti. 
 
Entering 2024 ready to showcase the magic he has been cooking up in the studio, EDX brought his first single of the year to light titled Vividra. Dedicated to experimenting with new sounds, while maintaining his indomitable EDX production quality, his next release Setema breathes modern flair into his globally adored sound. Tried and tested from Miami to Ibiza over recent months, it has formed an instant connection with audiences in every set. His impressive musical output keeps him at the helm of the scene, and is one of the most cherished acts in dance music; a position that he has held for almost three decades.

DJ Eric"Powa" B. aka Eric B. starts his career in the mid 80’s ("La Gaite", le "55", "Boccaccio" where he resided for years). He makes a huge success of Antwerp’s "La Rocca" over a period of 10 years. Returning to Brussels, he becomes resident DJ at Who’s Who’s Land.
Aside from his Belgian career, he has a pretty hefty European schedule, playing all over Europe in well-established clubs like D! club (Ch), Pulp(Fr), Nouveau Casino(Fr), Paradiso (NL), Pacha (Sp), La Dune(Fr), Rex(Fr), Amnesia (Sp), Queen (Fr), Sugar Factory(NL) and so on.
Eric made already quite a few records whether as composer, producer or editor on tons of record labels (PIAS, R&S, Accor, Afrotraxx, Sony, Sekel Records,King Street Sounds/Nite Grooves...)in a few bands and under a pile of aliases (Wharehouse Party Boys,The Backlash,Kuster Beaton,Calvin Stones,Korova Sound System...)

Chiq has always been a huge music-lover and his interest in electronic music started very early in his life because his older brother was a dj too... 
Hearing his brother spinnin' triggered the need for him to play his own sets... and so he did!

At the age of 14 he bought his first records and he saved all his money for a pair of decks and a mixer. After playing some small local gigs and mixing at a few bars and cafés, including Bananas in Lier, his first residency, he got picked-up by the successful Dreamworx parties in Heist-op-den-Berg and soon clubs saw great potential in him.

He became a resident dj at Club Delite in Halen and made the Gorgeous room to a big hit thanks to his mixture of uplifting house, golden classics with an eclectic twist. When the club had to close due to issues with the owner of the building, he could display his skills at the infamous Club Illusion in Lier where he got into the groove as a resident DJ on Fridays and stand-in on Saturdays. 
When that club was also forced to close he could show off his skillset @ Club Carat (formerly known as AfterClub Carat).

Also, with his alter-ego AmbiHans, he is booked a lot for private-parties where he tends to mix urban tracks and dance-releases with some disco and rock-music, allround so to say!   

in 2020 he got together with some friends and they started "We Love Music", a collective that initially started out as a live-stream during covid-times. But later on they started throwing parties in the region of Antwerp with only one goal: 
To just have fun playing music you like yourself!

He's booked a lot on cool festivals and events like Tomorrowland, Tentaçao @ La Rocca, This is 90's,  Razzia, Gold, Summerbeatz, BEACHLAND, City Parade, Candybar, BBC, ... 

He has shared the decks with superstar dj's such as: Eric Prydz, Martin Solveig,
Hardwell, Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike, , Yves V and many more.
