At the tender age of 15 years, Danny aka Dan. B, took his first steps in the world of electronic music and all its peculiarities. He started off by experimenting with his first MIDI controller, which was a simple Behringer BCD2000. This did not only define his first attempt at mixing, it also nourished his interest in and love for DJ’ing.

Dan.B’s talent and growing skills as a DJ pushed his career towards a new high by teaming up with the Basel label Farbe.Form.Musik., with whom he booked and played many events, clubs and festivals, such as Kater Blau in Berlin and the “Plötzlich am Meer” Festival in Poland.

At the beginning of 2019 Dan.B founded the new label Karussell, which is devoted to house and disco music. And although the label is still in its early stages of development, its WAX/vinyl label is already on the horizon.

Currently Dan.B is touring Europe, with appearances across Germany and Switzerland, and in places such as London, Stockholm and Madrid. When not on tour, Dan.B enjoys playing the local club scene of Basel, including his two residencies at Viertel and Sommerresidenz, and continuously working on his music, with new tracks already waiting.

Dan.B’s diverse style ranges across house and disco, up to luscious minimal vibes and tech-house music. His distinctive sound is full of groovy rhythms, concentrated with high hats and includes many unique vocal samples. Dan.B’s music is sure to get every single person moving and leave a sweet taste in your mouth and ears.

For our premiere (MMM01), Frankfurt matador and music master Franksen presents a neatly grooving set in his beloved style. In between fluffy springtime vibes and timeless trax with that classic house drive. Franksen was host of the popular You FM Clubnight radioshow. A longtime DJ, Producer (with numerous releases on labels like Bar 25 Music, Houseworx, sinnmusik* or Plastic City) and author. As 2020 catapulted everyone home, Franksen turned his situation into productivity in his own studio cosmos. Lockdown in a different manner... instead of energetic house tracks, Franksen felt his musical range blossom and finally released his own diverse freestyle EP: “Remixes With Love” for Poets Club Records. On that release you can hear all his roots, from dub to breaks to jazz vibes, hip hop and, of course, yet amongst all else: house. Some of those edit-styled remix tunes shine in this mix as well. So as springtime hit early this year, we provide you with the right soundtrack, representing our common desire for housemusic and sweet clubnights in intimate clubs -  the vibe of which this mix is ​​dedicated to: gentle and uplifting at the same time. #stayhousy
