Jeff Chenault (Central)  Don’t leave this man alone with a tape recorder.  Well trained in tactical subversion, he is the master at technological manipulation.  Untrained on conventional instruments, he instead concentrates his maniacal energies on bending tape recorders, synthesizers, percussion and pure noise to his will.  
     Being very much into the underground cassette culture, he is the founding member of the I.T.N. label (short for International Terrorist Network).  In addition to releasing his own tapes under his own name and various collaborations, he also has numerous tapes done for labels around the world.  His first vinyl appearance was when a collaboration track between Jeff and Chris Phinney appeared on the Hands To/Mental Anguish split LP.  This album was issued as a limited edition of 250.  Since then he has appeared on two CD compilations “Music For Shopping” and “Adventures In Modern Recording”.
Both are compilations of electronic musicians from Central Ohio released on the Black Music label.  Since meeting Andrew Izold in 1990 they have released a plethora of audio mayhem under the names 10-Speed Guillotine and Resonance.  Jeff also currently plays out live as Central Inhabitants to showcase his dark subsonic nightmares in sound.

Andrew Izold (Alois)  The straight man; the safety coating on a bitter pill.  Andy has worked in all styles of musical formats, on any number of instruments.  The more conventionally trained of the two, he has played drums for the R.C. Mob (on Warner Bros.), and produced as well as engineered the first Scrawl album on Rough Trade.  He has played guitars, drums and synthesizers in numerous country, punk, experimental and rock and roll type bands.  He also creates music for various video productions and owns his own recording studio the “Pleasure Lab.” He has also appeared on two aforementioned CD compilations “Music For Shopping” and “Adventures In Modern Recording”.
After graduating from Akron University with an electronics engineering degree he now resides in Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio.  He still works with Jeff Central creating soundscapes under the name of Resonance and continues to pursue his own eletro-alternative sounds under the guise of Full Load of King.


Since their formation in London in 1976, the members of Wire have maintained and advanced a musical project which treats the creative potential of a rock band as a fluid, amorphous medium. As removed from self-conscious intellectualism as they are from the inherent conservatism of much rock music, Wire employ their unique, endlessly restless and risk-taking creativity to question every aspect of songwriting, recording and performance. They delight and disturb in equal measure, troubleshooting the circuitry of perfect pop, or patrolling the limits of focused experimentalism. In terms of working together as Wire, the group's members disbanded in 1980, reformed in 1985, disbanded in 1992 and reformed for the second time in 2000. Such sabbaticals from their career as Wire have served to sharpen the group's edge and focus, updating the tactics with which they pursue this shared project.

Biog – Short Version
Bioni Samp is an artist, producer and video maker originally from Leeds, Yorkshire. He currently resides in London. He creates experimental electronic music, live and on recordings. He also seasonally works with bees. When not beekeeping, he makes custom audio software and hardware, which he uses in creating his music.

Bioni Samp has been publishing his work since 1995 and has had releases on various labels: Aconito, EMIT (UK) Harthouse (DE) Philtre/Kompakt, Instinct, Minimalizm (USA) RoHS Prod (FR) and Noise Music (BR).

Growing up in Yorkshire to a backdrop of industrial decay next to rural beauty, inspired me to create my own electronic landscapes using cassette, tape loops, bass guitar and a Roland SH-101 synthesiser.

I was influenced and inspired by other Yorkshire locals, Cabaret Voltaire, early Human League, their harsh electronic sound and slide based multimedia live shows.

After studying video and sound in Scotland, it was in Glasgow that I really started to developed my own work and built an early ProTools based electronic studio. Many djing, live electronics gigs and then releases followed.

Over the years I have continued to research and experiment with stereo / binaural, producing recordings and performing live with extreme stereo processing, using mainly my own home made equipment. Recently I have been invited to perform my live electronics in Canada, Sweden, Slovakia, Czech Republic, Poland, Austria, Liverpool, and London.

I have recently performed with my 'Hive Synthesiser' at reRooted Festival at Humber Street Gallery, part of Hull UK City Of Culture 2017. Where I also played a DJ set on the last night of the festival.

I like to create something new for each live performance, my sound constantly evolving between ‘ambient / experimental / field recordings / noise / techno‘.

'Bioni Samp makes his solo debut proper with a finely structured, dark and elemental Ambient Techno EP. Hailing from Leeds, he's already appeared on the London-based Aconito label alongside Nax_Acid with the 'Ghost Bus' EP, but this is his definitive solo statement. Stark ambient pieces bookend four minimal Techno rollers. 'Feather Ings' uses field recordings and plunging subaquatic basses reminiscent of Thomas Köner, and the title track sketches bleak atmospheres around a skeletal hi-hat pattern reminding of DJ Skirt at her most isolated. The Techno tracks are equally carefully constructed, from the rippling, offset roll of 'Todays Skyline' to the SAW-like pulses of 'Oil On Canvas' and the ghostly warehouse space of 'Slinky Makes Reverb'.
