This is a transcription of the cantate: "Ich ruf zu Dir Herr Jesu" of the famous pianist Busoni.(1866-1924) Acoustic environment King's Collage Chapel in Londen.
It's played in a very modest volume so don't pump up the volume!

I want your love

My new composition "Nocturne" captures the feeling of an evening soiree, with serious listeners, some off in the corner talking and drinking and others enjoying the casual conversations and relaxed scene.  The music is dreamy, with melodies that don't conform to the standard 8 bars and resolve in unexpected keys.  The tempo is ultra rubato, and with too much sentimentality for the purest.  I love to savor the keys, the timing and experiment with melody in ways that indulge my romantic emotions.  Thank you for listening to my music!

The time of the pandemic was marked by countless endless, solitary wanderings through nature. This is captured in this piece for piano and bassoon: as footsteps move steadily through deep snow, memories drift past the mind’s eye— silent, fleeting, and profound.
