And still — or maybe because of that — I’m here. Fully present. With Murschel, my cat. Coffee. Cigarette. And the rain, which hasn’t stopped for four days.

This isn’t a book about hope. It’s not a cancer guide. Not an emotional appeal. It’s a spoken memoir of reality, with music you can read to. 25 chapters. No storyline arc. No happy ending. But every line is lived.

Decay speaks to me. And I speak back. I found home in things no one wants to keep. And time doesn’t run — it just stands in the rain.
